Channeling my inner fantasy heroine before writing #DarksomeMirror - Dancer in Shadow. #Darkfantasy #Swords #WLW #Fantasyfiction

This is a photograph of a nodachi, or eastern style curved sword with a single edge, measuring approximately 120cm in blade length and 30cm in grip length, resting upon a dramatic sable and crimson cape in stylized lighting.

This is a digital painterly style art piece of a woman sitting at a desk in front of an open window. She is blonde and wearing eyeliner and burgundy lipstick, is caucasian in appearance, and has green eyes. She is wearing a blue and gold dress with a livery belt, and is looking at a letter. She has a subtle halo of light behind her head in a pale blue color. She is curvaceous and conventionally attractive.

Episode Three of Reflections in the Darksome Mirror has been released, and it, of course, features Nyma the Shadowfae. youtu.be/wmiP5vcnnuQ?... #Unseelie #Darkfae #fairies #fae #ttrpg #darkfantasy #characterart #DarksomeMirror #semisoloactualplay

This is an artistic depiction of a fiction character, Nyma the Shadowfae. What follows is a book excerpt describing the character.

They were a head taller than Shinnareth at least. Nyma smiled, displaying fanged incisors and canines. Shinnareth then realized that their form - more feminine than masculine - was framed by long, slender tentacles that sprouted from their back not unlike wings. There must have been a dozen of them, sprouting from the small of Nyma’s back, floating gently around their shoulders. Nyma’s hair, likewise black, was long and perfectly straight, hanging to their mid back, and partially over their breasts. The only pieces of clothing Shinnareth saw upon Nyma’s form was a loincloth or skirt, starting above the waist, hanging down to their ankles. It was split, displaying the curves of their thighs and hips, and it was either sheer, or the same color as Nyma’s dark skin. As Nyma moved, their skin shifted in the flickering blue and purple light, and Shinnareth realized that it was partially transparent. Nyma’s black bones were visible through their skin and musculature.

Nyma wore a necklace as well, wrought of dark silver chain, and ending in a disc-like amulet with a large purple stone - the same color as Rhiannon’s moon. If it had existed in Valgrath, it would have been worth a king’s ransom.

By rights, Shinnareth should have been terrified, but she was not. For all of Nyma’s alien aspects, they were astonishingly, frighteningly beautiful, with full lips, prominent cheekbones, and a muscular, curvaceous body which possessed a feminine shape. Their long, exposed legs ended in ankle-high, tall-soled boots of pitch dark leather, almost blending into their skin.

The Song Of the Maiden Spirit - A song and poem meant to inspire music and dance for followers of the Goddess of Sorcery and the Shadowfae, Rhiannon, from the world of Darksome Mirror. #Poetry #Darkfantasy #DarksomeMirror #Art #Legendarium

This is an image of a poem:

The Song Of the Maiden Spirit
On a dark wintry eve, in a fogbound forest old
There lies a forest path of winding stone cold
And there in this lovely, verdant tale
The moon shone bright upon an emerald vale
Then came a sound that brought a sharp fright
And I did start at the noise in that misty night
For amongst the leaves and trees of oak
A silver clad, beautiful maiden spirit spoke
“Be still, mortal, please do not fear
I bear no ill will, nay, I shed a joyful tear
I have long been alone, please do not flee
and I ask, wouldst thou dance with me?”
So she took my hand and I did as was bade
We walked down to dance in the forest glade
The moonlight shone upon us as we moved in bliss
Past the witching hour we even shared a brief kiss
We danced around and around the spirit fire
At the nearing of dawn, I lay down and did expire
The sun's light woke me, I feared it was but a dream
But our footsteps traced all around the green
I sat and listened, and thus did I hear
“Let go your mortal woe and fear.
Remember always what we shared in that dance
And how bravely did you take that chance.
Go and pursue your most sincere dreams,
For truly nothing is as it seems.”

This is the key art for Darksome Mirror and its podcast. If you have seen the second episode, can you guess which two figures are present in the picture? Art by: www.artstation.com/flaviowinston #Art #Literary #Darkfantasy #narrativedrama #fictionpodcast #DarksomeMirror #blueskin

This is a digital fantasy art piece. A half elf woman with blue skin stands in front of a very large magic mirror-like monument. She stands barefoot in a reflecting pool of water. A large curved sword of white steel is held in her right hand. Four moons are overhead in the skybox- blue, green, red, and dark purple in descending order of size and brightness.

The mirror has a reflection of the woman, but somewhat altered - wraith like white and green in color, with red eyes and horns.

This is an artistic depiction of a half-elven woman sitting on a wooden chair in a relaxed pose. She is wearing a suit of full plate armor colored black with realistic high gothic elements. She carries a curved two handed sword in one hand, resting it on her armored shoulder. She is wearing heavy metal inspired black makeup, has long white hair, and blue-grey skin. The picture has dramatic lighting and harsh shadows.
