Growing up sheltered for most of her childhood, by mere chance she witnessed something that drastically changed her way of life — the death of her brother, a Soldier who was taken down by Shinra after he dared to question their ways. He was a thorn in their side, and a particularly persistent one, so surely they couldn't just let him be. This tragic event was the one thing that lit her rebellious spirit.
• She has heard of Avalanche, but is unsure if she can actually trust them. Would they be willing to help her? Will they just use her, and ultimately discard her? She can't risk it... or can she?
• For the time being, she's on her own. Trying to figure out how to locate the people who gave the order to kill his brother — that's her mission, the reason why she's still breathing. And then... and then, there's no certainty. She's no assassin, but gods know she wants them dead.
• She's been training to strengthen herself; learning self-defense and how to use a sword and a bow. She discovered her aim isn't half bad.
• She feels extremely guilty, like her brother's passing is her own fault. She promised herself that she'll never let anyone else meet their demise because of Shinra; she won't be nor feel powerless ever again.
