This is what I have to look forward to, this week. And Monday, we have a doctor's appointment in Palm Springs, where it is going to be 114°. The only good thing is that the humidity is 14% which means the swamp cooler will be working well.

Weather forecast for Joshua Tree for the next 4 days, with highs from 105 to 108°F and lows of 79 to 82°F. In addition we will have wind ranging from 14mph to 21mph, which means I have to water the yard tonight so the wind doesn't turn my plants into dust.

So, I went out to the garden and my pruning clippers had lost a rivet. So, I got a hand riveter from Harbor Freight, and now it's fixed! The new rivet is circled. My last repair was an electric teapot. I had already bought a new one, so I gave the repaired one to my neighbor.
