Hey there, Brio has their own animation feature now! Brio support is something i will consider because of that. It's partially based on my UI so the transition over to it if you choose so will be pretty smooth!

Meddle + Blender will always be easier because you can utilize all of the advanced posing features. TA is for making smaller things and to learn how animation based keyframing works. It's not an alternative to blender rather a gentle entry!

Hey! I'm the TA dev. The brio developer and I started roughly at the same time working on our animation implementations. We talked during that process, just the release window was a funny coincidence that we both were unaware of. The ui was adjusted based on the ui TA also uses.

Hey there. The grey keyframes are a quick placeholder to visualize which bones are keyframed in general. If you expand that bones transform tab (same counts for the camera) you should see the actual red keyframes that can be manipulated.

DarkmodeLeyla @darkmodeleyla.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Haha yeah it was actually a coincidence that we released so closely to each other. I'm excited to try out brios timeline too!

Super excited to try yours ❤️

Minmoose and i started to work on animation at a similar time so I'm super happy to see brio getting their own internal timeline! ❤️

It's time. As promised, TimelineAnimator is now available for everyone. ❤️ I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll make with it. If you run into any bugs or other issues, there are two dedicated channels in my Discord where you can report them. github.com/NoHideout/Ti...

There is no limit for keyframes don't worry, feri just used 55.

230

DarkmodeLeyla @darkmodeleyla.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

Yes. There is no limit but the object table (so between 160 and 200 actors) and your pc. The timelines are synced so they all playback at the same time.

DarkmodeLeyla @darkmodeleyla.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

Yes! It's designed to be as simple as possible and there will be a guide on release as well.

I know people are really looking forward to trying it, but please let me finish it first! TA has taken a while, and it's finally almost done. While I polish things up and add the last few features, I ask for your patience and understanding that I can't release it just yet. ❤️

DarkmodeLeyla @darkmodeleyla.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

I'm currently on track to release around July 7th (give or take a couple of days). Thanks to everyone patiently following the project, and a huge thank you to my testers. ❤️ Very quick preview showing a few features so its a bit rough, I'm sure youll do better than i can!

You can find Camcorder here: github.com/NoHideout/Eo... Animator will also be released on that GitHub but I will make a post soon once it's ready for public use. Due to the heatwave I'm taking a tiny break till tomorrow/Monday because i cant code at 41°c lol. Alternatively you can join my discord.

DarkmodeLeyla @darkmodeleyla.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

I'm glad you like Camcorder! In the future they will work together so you can automatically record the animation you created.

Just FYI for anyone finding the post just now, it's not released yet. I had a major issue with custom scaled characters but those are all fixed finally. In 1-2 weeks approximately it can be released but there are some features and bugs I've to patch before.

DarkmodeLeyla @darkmodeleyla.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Hey thanks, I'm still working on it. Right now I'm basically doing an experimental private testing phase and then in 1-2 weeks approximately it can be released.
