It has been a hard few years. The amount of loss and grief I've had to bear feels too much to carry. Yet, I still trudge on because its what we do. We get up and we continue on. Those we've loss deserve to be mourned. The love we have for them and the grief we feel is evidence for that.

Unfortunately, due to the extent of vampire cat's illness and declining health, it is with a heavy heart that my sister has had to choose to let her go. 😭 we are devastated. Goodbye Bagheera aka vampire cat. We will miss you and your snuggly nature.

Update is, her transfusion worked and she's feeling lots better. Still being monitored to see if her bone marrow will produce blood and they can see something in her abdomen that looks like a blockage they are keeping an eye on. She is staying another night though

Vampire cat is at the vet in overnight care. Breathing and heart were abnormal and she is very anemic. They suspect an auto immune issue that suddenly hit and she will need a blood transfusion. My sister asks for prayers that she will be okay. 🥺💚 we love our vampire cat.

Hot take. The chatty person talking to a cashier, or customer service rep, probably IS lonely and I think it's sad that we as a society view that as pitiful and bad. Someone reaching out for human connection shouldn't be treated that way.
