He plugs a cable into the back of his neck, connecting to the machine. One of the screens lights up in red and black. A feminine face appears distorted, seemingly peering through the screen. "I think you've connected to the wrong station." He looks mildly surprised at first. "A personality construct?" To his surprise, a glass tube rises around him, trapping him inside the ring. Bright lines cross-cross over his body, slicing into his clothes. On one of the screens, the digital entity seems to be pressing her finger against the glass. "This station is for quality assurance. And you are way off spec."

From the port on the back of his neck, a glitchy effect spreads, converting his flesh to a black synthetic material. "Her template? What does she mean?" The same happens to his arms and legs, though the material is white and his hooves and fingernails are bright blue. All that is left unchanged is his head and the front of his torso and crotch.
