THE NEED FOR CEASEFIRES IN WARS, THE IGNORANCE TO IHL AND THE RESPECT FOR IHL BY STATES AND STATE ACTORS
International Hunaitarian Law(IHL) are to preserve some humanity, even in war, where-Prisoners of war must be treated humanely.-Civilians should not be targeted.-Hospitals and health workers must be protected.-Humanitarian aid should not be blocked. What is happening with the Geneva Conventions rules of IHL under international watch at the moment, is the first and foremost gradual and the sudden instant overlooking of hateful astrocities, deeds and words by states and state actors before and during wars and this situation creates bankruptcy or ignorance in the respect for IHL, a situation where the ICRC lacks access to war zones and is denied visits to prisoners of war by states and state actors.
