Raised bed hugelkultur principal. We dug in about 1.5 feet and built up about 1.5 feet. The first layer has large logs and tree branches, pictured here. Then we will add dry small sticks, dry grass clippings, leaves, after that a layer of fresh compostable items and finally some top soil.
