Question from Whatjoup4 on tumblr “Question, does your female!deadpool have hair under the mask or does she still look like a human shaped cancer and just cut a wig and glued it to the mask in the shape of a pony tail?” - I’ve actually been waiting for an excuse to finally explain this lol #deadpool

Attaching to the mask

BALD

Wren has a wig she wears unmasked. But she got annoyed at how the wig moved in the mask. So she attached a ponytail instead.

She likes wearing makeup and dolling up around Cooper, since he helps her feel more comfortable with her scars.

Spidey, I have something to confess…

I’m bald…

The religious trauma is something I’m still struggling with after 3 years not believing, but I’m making progress. If you’re an ex-jw reading this comic and felt the same fear, know this applies to you too. And that it gets easier the more you deconstruct the organisation’s teachings #comic #exjw

You never noticed the yearning - When I came out to my parents, my mum thought it couldn’t be possible, since I was such a feminine kid. I didn’t fit the stereotype she had in her mind of how a trans kid was “supposed to be like” for it to be real. #transcomic #transman

Page 1 - “But you were such a girly kid”

New Vibe I started this comic way back on June 1 before I got sidetracked by Yuri month, and finishing it up today on stream I really saw how much my style has changed. I was tempted just to scrap it all, but I kept it going in that style of the time. It’s crazy to see how much changes so quickly..

“Trans men have male Privilege” - The claim also completely ignores all the trans men who aren’t stealth or can’t “pass”, and trans men and mascs who don’t want to conform to how society thinks men “are supposed to look” (whatever that’s supposed to mean) #transmen #transcomic

Panel 1 - Online some people like to claim that:
“Trans men have male privilege”
Often in an attempt to discredit the valid experiences a lot of trans men go through.

Panel 2 - But you have to ask yourself this-

Panel 3 - Can it really be called privilege if it can just as easily be taken away the moment people find out he’s transgender?

Update on Moving out and Commission Call - Again, I really appreciate all the help I was given with my last comic talking about moving out, doing so many commissions was really fun and helped me a lot with pushing through when home life was getting even more difficult. #comic #commissioncall

A few months ago I put out a comic explaining that I needed to move out, because of my heavily religious and transphobic family, and opened my commissions for people to help out.

You all helped so much more than I was expecting. I was fully prepared to only have a few commissions, but never reach my goal this quick.

But I was proven wrong, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

A couple of weeks after I posted the comic, I found out I was eligible for a youth crisis housing program. So I worked with them to get a room, and moved out of home.

I didn’t tell my parents till the day I left, I left a letter explaining why I moved, where I was going and that I was safe and will have support, and how i wanted to try to rebuild our relationship. Taking my essentials and things that were worth a lot to me.

I’ve been out of home for 3 weeks, and it’s been great finally being able to be myself, to feel more independent and confident.

But this crisis housing program is only a temporary solution, while the staff are going to be helping me find my own place, I still am in a rough spot financially.

So I will still have my commissions open, with a new goal to have enough savings for a rental with a roommate.

Deadpool - I really hope he likes it…
Deadpool - “So…I got you something. It’s not really anything big or anything but I saw it and thought of you but I’m not really sure if you’ll like it or not. Like I just wanted to get it for you but if you don’t like it then you can return it that’s fine but I just wanted to see if you did like it and if you do tell me so I know…
So yeah

I’m going to be using this for moving out, which I have finally found out a way to! I’ll go more into detail about it on a future comic. But you all have no idea how happy I was to see I will have enough, to experience how great this community is in real time. I can’t show my appreciation enough.

I wanted to make this comic after realising how my Mum and I’s dynamic worked, and found a good way to describe how it’s made it hard to have a close relationship with her. I wanted to make this comic open to interpretation though, as I’m sure others will have ways this connects to them personally.

I remember my parents and their friends and family always taking opportunities to say homophobic stuff, especially when schools teaching about the LGBTQ was brought up. My parents would make me skip school on IDOHOBIT day and if the school was doing an event for pride month. #transcomic #exjw

Panel 1 - “But why do you need Pride Month?”
When I was a young teenager, my high school made a big deal out of IDOHOBIT day and pride month.

Panel 2 - I hated it

Panel 3 - Because all my life I was told is was sinful.
Sophia - “One of the kids drew two mommies”
Her mum - “Well, God designed us to be one man and one woman. If we want to see his paradise, we’re going to have to leave some things behind.”
One Man, One Woman - JW.org

Taught is was Satan’s way of controlling the world and worshipping him instead of God.

Panel 4 - But every time I had to sit through the school presentations, it planted a seed of doubt in my heart.
“This doesn’t look sinful”
Now that I’m over 3 years in my journey…

Panel 5 - I still can’t understand how this way of loving,

Panel 6 - this way of existing,

Panel 7 - Is somehow “sinful”
