Beautiful morning! Stopped after school dropoff to feed a loved one's cat out in the boonies! Starts to rain in a really cozy and nice way! Then my car doesn't start and this is my tomb now! But it's really pretty!

The thrift store knew what I truly needed yesterday was two perfectly* maintained boxes of Myst and Riven that, as a bonus, smell exactly like my Grandparents' house in a way that made me tear up. (*marginally perfect only because what my Grandparents' house mostly smelled like was 'smoke')

two big beautiful boxes of the PC games Myst and Riven

Rented OoT and loaded up a save on there with zero context, and because my family tv was so dark I couldn't make out the ReDeads in the town square as link was being strangled to death by some unseen thing. That was the volley that Majora's Mask then spiked into my brain/heart!!

I wanted to show my friend my e-reader, and as soon as I clicked a book to show as an example, he took the opportunity to call the shot, 'I bet your text size is ｈｕｇｅ.",as it loaded - I had to wait a few seconds in silence praying it wasn't, and i was forsaken.

it's p subjective, but the new one feels way less like a disguise, and some of the elements I loved as a kid (the tan, more angular, sterner expression, hair diff) seem lost/dampened to me. Kid-me loved the stark contrast between Sheik and Zelda and this just feels mushier of a line to me.

I've had these two babies sitting beside me with their respective battery replacements for ages, I should do the surgeries soon - I have another nano I use and it just feels lovely.

heavy in distressing content (which I 'loved') followed by heavy in remembering the monster who made X-Men halfway through watching it (which made me get up and peace out)

I just remembered that I no-scoped this dreamcast vga adapter thing at a thrift store in a pile of junk about a month ago and bought it for a few bucks - I recognized the cable end immediately, and I gotta come to terms one day with that being my primary skill (looking at cords)

2026 so far is muscle memory googlng (forgetting it is AI now) a set of symptoms you're having so that a big long AI wall of text can tell you you are probably just experiencing human sadness

I havent cared about Star Wars for so long now, but these three games were formative for little-me (I was too dumb for Rebellion at the time but I loved it and the evil 3P0 and R2 analogues if you played Empire)
