Been doing a lot of very ahhhh monochromatic puzzles lately and my god do I love color

A jigsaw puzzle in progress. The pieces are thick wooden pieces. There’s a nearly complete bunny and then all sorts of bits and bobs of colorful flowers beyond. It’s very pretty.

How it started / how it’s going

A coffee table. Looks rough. Kinda a lightish brown. There’s one strip that’s been rotary sanded one time. The whole thing is up on some saw horses in a cluttered garage.

Oh holy shit is this even the same table? It’s clearly near the end of a refinishing process by some kind of master furniture worker, or maybe just by a dad who needed to get away from the kids for a bit. The whole thing is clean as hell and that brown, that brown? That is some rich as shit brown. There’s a warm flat layer of top coat giving the whole thing just a bit of shine in the dull light. There’s oil stain splatter all over the garage floor now. But that table though, Oh man oh god. It’s so nice looking now.
