it's interesting how we don't talk about emissions other than CO2 often. people need to realise that nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides are also bad for our atmosphere. this technology might just help reduce our net emissions and reduce the global impact of climate change.

Just another reason why we shouldn't be using fossil fuels. Every time we use them, we lose a little part of our freedom. Clean energy isn't just to help the environment, it's a symbol of our independence from those who try to dictate the world's future and keep politician's under their thumbs.

I don't know any trans people personally. I'm not even sure I've met a single trans person. But trans content creators online are some of the nicest people I've ever seen, and I've seen no evidence to say trans people as a group aren't good people. I base my opinions on facts, unlike the fascists.

Unfortunately my laptop is in for repair, so I can't continue this or access certain alreadh completed tracks. The two tracks I have access to are Once Upon a Time and Ruins. Since Toby used a custom FL Studio plugin to emulate the "retro" sound, even the similar ones aren't identical. (6/?)

The NES had two square wave channels (for primary melodies) and one triangle wave channel (for bass melodies). So that means I can't exactly do chords, since they require a minimum of 3 notes/tones simultaneously. And of course, some tracks are bound to sound bad. (4/?)

This has had some challenges, such as the fact you can't do "notes", just tones for a duration, meaning two consecutive notes sound like one longer note. There are also challenges with how many tones can play simultaneously. (3/?)

My friend told me about the music composition software FamiStudio, which essentially emulates the NES/Famicom sound chip's capabilities and allows you to compose music using it. So I decided to try and start translating the Undertale (and maybe Deltarune) OST to this format. (2/?)

We can always expand the renewables and improve them too. More renewables will put prices much further down, and allow us to help other countries reduce their reliance on fossil fuels.
