I managed to drag myself out for, not one, but two shows this past weekend *and* got all my module readings for school finished in time. I have to say, Messa put on a fantastic show. Beautiful vocals, powerful guitar solos, sorrowful bluesy atmosphere. I was very impressed.

This picture is hung up in a hallway at the clinic I work at. I pass by it every day. After today, I’m going to try to take those words a little more to heart. #dollyparton #dolly #rip

So, I’ve officially decided I’m going to be Nikki from Obsession for Halloween. We have a similar hairstyle and I can probably get the wardrobe down pretty easily. 👌🏼

Today is my last day before vacation and we are on early hours due to the holiday. I have been here since 5:30 and have had three sessions (two individual sessions with my clients, one intake) already. We are so locking in today. 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Today, I turned over the title to the junkyard and took the plates off. I’m still sad and stressed about the finances, but I’m trying to stay grateful that nobody was injured.

I was going to share with y’all a video of all the CDs I bought at Maryland Deathfest but I can’t post long videos here. :( It’s on my IG if you’re interested though. www.instagram.com/reel/DZxjDgN...

The next piece of merch from MDF I want to share is this amazing long sleeve of Paradise Lost’s groundbreaking Gothic album. Not only is this an all-time favorite of mine, but much of the metal I love was directly influenced by it. #paradiselost #deathdoommetal #gothic #mdf #metalsky

First MDF purchase I wanted to show off is this Amorphis shirt I grabbed. On the way to the fest, I became determined to find a Tales From the Thousands Lakes shirt, and I manifested it. ✨ #amorphis #music #metalsky #melodeath #melodicdeathmetal #mdf #marylanddeathfest

Going to Maryland Deathfest is so essential to my mental health. Getting to see a bunch of talented artists with my friends is so much fun and always a highlight of my year. #mdf #mdf2026 #deathfest #marylanddeathfest

My partner had gotten a goodie bag from work with this peppermint soap in it. I was taking a bath this morning and tried to use it. I realized that it wasn’t lathering as I tried to wash myself and the texture was stiff. I realized then it wasn’t soap; it’s a wax melt.

I got my bridge piercing redone today and I feel so good about it. Having a bridge in the past made me feel attractive and I loved the symmetry it added to my face, so I’m stoked to have it back!

I got a perfect score on my report for my Substance Abuse Treatment and Research course. The assignment was a mock treatment plan for a patient, complete with follow-up plans and clinical progress notes. I can’t wait to do this in my career. #csac #substanceabusecounseling #counselingstudent

I’m feeling the outfit today, as if this weren’t the overall look I go for every day. The vibe is “work-appropriate but still looks like he listens to darkwave” #ootd #darkwave #selfie

Hey everybody, so I realized I never did an introduction. I’m Dante. I’m a Human Services student with plans to become a therapist. I make YouTube videos about dark, heavy music and horror movies. I also sing in a few bands. I’m gay, gothy, and love Cocteau Twins. Gimme a follow if that’s cool.

The 3rd and the Mortal are a Norwegian act who formed in the early 90’s. Their first few releases, Sorrow and Tears Laid in Earth, were two of the earliest examples of doom metal with ethereal atmosphere and soprano vocals. They would go on to inspire many bands in doom and gothic metal.
