I once drew a bunch of people wearing fish on their heads, using this Tish Murtha photo as a guide. As you do.

Also saves folks the trouble of having to play Pokémon Go in order to gather data for drone strikes. Speaking of which, yesterday I came across these two cheerily related(?) pieces of information...
Text reading: Their oculus quest headsets are sinister AF as well. They contain a basic lidar scanner that scans your play area to detect obstacles and you have to jump hoops to exclude the data from being sent to meta, so not only are they getting your facial recognition but also your fking bedroom.

They developed an even more advanced option recently to create a Gaussian spalt of your area recently which combines the lidar with 360 degree photos, the data is sent to them for several hours of processing and brings back a detailed 3d scan of your space, whilst giving hundreds of MB of your personal data to them.Text reading: Now that the "military Internet" is playing as crucial a role in Ukraine as the "peaceful Internet", I no longer have any doubts about the priority of military scientific developments. Moreover, I understand that from a military point of view, everything and everyone in the world is a potential target and that everything in the world has G.P.S. coordinates that enable destructive forces to hit their chosen target with precision. The same G.P.S. coordinates that help me to find a prehistoric cave on the island of Crete can be fed into a missile launched from a Russian submarine in the Black Sea in order to destroy or, in modern Russian terms, to “de-Nazify" this cave.

It seems that at least one of the 40 rockets sent to blow up the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv on the night of July 31 was programmed to hit the master bedroom of a private house. It was this rocket that killed the owner of the largest Ukrainian...

In 2021, I committed to draw at least one tree per month. I'd really hoped to keep this practise up, but have stalled badly. Trying to get going again, here's an apple tree I started on today...

Fabulous going to see Ashwin Baliga – whom I last met at a hackathon in Athens in 2017 – performing "All We Imagine as Khayal" in his new calling as an Indian classical vocalist, at the Nehru's Centre, London.
