Logged into Tunecore for the first time in a while and am so disappointed to see them prominently promoting using AI tools to generate music. What a slap in the face to the actual artists whose music has kept Tunecore in business for 20 years.

Restoring my childhood bass and this (ridiculous) 300 watt behringer amp that must weigh 75lbs. Got good use out of it as a teenager! Had no idea DI was an option back then.

Now Spinning: ‘Red, White and Bruised’ by The Midnight. Incredible live album that adds a healthy dosage of 80s hair metal to the usual synthwave-ness of The Midnight. Royce Whittaker is one of my favorite guitar players and gets plenty of spotlight on this record. #nowspinning

Now Spinning: ‘Local Honey’ by Brian Fallon. One of NJ’s best! Compared to The Gaslight Anthem, Fallon’s solo material is mellower and leans more acoustic. Feels like an evolution of his work in The Horrible Crows. His whole discography is worth a deep dive.

The mini pedal board has evolved to a stereo vertical board. GAS is a real thing. That said, no regrets with the UA Enigmatic. Great pedal platform and super flexible range of tones.

Great vintage pedal find at Lonestar Music Depot in Mesa, AZ. Ibanez Prime Dual Chorus PC10 from the late 80s. Definitely an 80s-in-a-box type pedal.

Got a mini pedal board to have a secondary portable rig. Also my first set up using a modeler (UA Ruby). Byproduct of this is learning how phenomenal the Chase Bliss Mood Mkii is as a utility reverb/delay.

First (successful) DIY pedal build with this AionFX Azimuth overdrive. Much prefer AionFX’s kits to StewMac. They make the wiring much easier so that you’re just focused on soldering components. Highly recommend. #guitarpedals #DIY
