This is not some Herculean feat or anything, but I've been having a blast playing Hades 2 (started Christmas Eve) and I finally cleared my last achievements. Haven't been as obsessed with a game in yoinks, not even Hades 1 was on the same level. Prometheus is probably my favorite boss fight!

A Steam screenshot of a fully completed list of Hades 2 achievements, the last being Improbable Outcomes and Goddess of Nightmares.

I've been playing for 4 years! This is my pride and joy.

The image depicts a shiny Larvesta (silkworm-esque Pokemon that evolves into a mothlike one called Volcarona). It is white with 5 prominent "prongs" around it in a semi-circle that are normally orange in color, but its shiny coloration is golden yellow.

It also has perfect stats, which in Pokemon Go parlance is known as a "shundo". Currently, a Larvesta/Volcarona shundo in Pokemon Go is extremely rare, as they are an egg-exclusive species and have a low drop rate.

Coincidentally, KCH is also shorthand for Kuching, a city in East Malaysia that is also known as the Cat City (in Malay, Kuching sounds like the word for cat, kucing). So... I'm just imagining the phone camera going "cat! cat! cat!"

A cat statue in Kuching, it is white and its left paw is raised in greeting. During festive seasons it is also dressed up!

I was only giving you an excuse to gush about Marina 😜 but that is a nice varied list! In exchange, my Spotify recents:

18 days and I'm done. Completed every achievement on #deadspace over 3 playthroughs and what Steam tells me is 53 hours, but probably 45-47 given I fell asleep with the game turned on once. The Flamethrower was my favorite weapon. "I will put all that you cherish to the flame," and lo, so it did.

Isaac Clarke: "It showed me what I have to do. You can't stop me!"

Dead Space completion log on Impossible difficulty.

Roasting necromorphs to sweet, sweet oblivion.

Figure I'll start skeeting(?) a bit more by talking about Pokémon, my go-to passion that isn't SF/F literature. Just caught a shiny Darkrai! IV-wise it's not great, but I've wanted one in a Master Ball so I'm happy to have it. Definitely an easier hunt than in the BDSP games.

Screenshot of a Master Ball with a Halloween-themed background in Pokémon Go.

Picture of a shiny Darkrai, a gen IV mythical Pokémon that I just caught in a PoGo raid. It differs from the base form in that the shiny is of a purplish hue instead of black. I used my Master Ball as it matches the color somewhat.
