So last night I arrived at The Avelons gig to be greeted with this as a backdrop flag on the stage. Very touched and a lovely gesture.

Sometimes starting afresh will new platforms like this really motivates. You find out who really wants to find new bands, hear new music, support the ‘underground’ scene etc. And it really seems that there’s a lot of you 🧡 Keep spreading the word. We’re glad we’re / you’re here. AJ

Final practice for The Avelons tonight ahead of Saturdays headline at Think Tank, Newcastle. Little drive over town to see the boys and make sure they are behaving themselves! Proud.

Proper intro time. I’m Matt aka brownbear Scottish Indie-Soul songwriter. My second album ‘Demons’ came out last year. I’m doing this independently. No label. No publisher. No agent. I’ve achieved far beyond what I should have because of the support of amazing music fans like yourselves 🙌🏽🖤 #music
