Lots of excitement about the squeaky beach sounds in Big Walk! You'll all be happy to know it's the real thing! Was absolutely giddy to get to record them on an actual Australian squeaky beach in Wilson's Promontory. Yes, if you didn't know some beaches there really do squeak. It is pure joy.

There is a tricky thing with the millenial cringe. In videogames we get criticized if we use nostalgia or mix things from our childhood that is only videogames. But for example in music you wont hear someone say "why only inspired by other music instead of using music from looking at the sunset"

so if you played a game on steam & enjoyed it, & especially if you notice it doesn't have that many reviews yet - just leave a thumbs up. it could mean the difference between a game dev quitting dev entirely or continuing to make games for another 5 years or more. i know it did for me.

PSA!! almost everything that is uploaded to streaming services can be bought from qobuz! unless they SPECIFICALLY excluded it. i buy a ton of kids stuff from there: danny go, ms. rachel, super simple songs... amazon music also often sells the mp3s. (but qobuz sells flacs and pays artists better)
