#Superman lived up to the hype. Totally different from Henry Cavill AND Christopher Reeve, it's very much James Gunn's take on the character but the descriptions of it being a "Silver Age comic come to life" are bang on. Me and my family had a great time ❤️

It has its flaws but #EldenRing #Nightreign is the most time I've put into a multiplayer game in probably 13 years. A very unique experience and mad addictive 🫶

On another note I can't believe that's a screenshot from a TV show, it looks painted!

Ngl, I've been getting burnt out on so much disappointing television in recent years, #WheelofTime being cancelled feels like the final nail in the coffin and has completely killed my enthusiasm for most of the medium Think I'll stick to books where creativity doesn't go to die #WotSkies

Recommend this to anyone who's a fan of Joe Abercrombie's previous books! Different from his work on the First Law series but at the same time so very him, I don't think I've had this much fun reading a book since Best Served Cold 🪐📚

Straight white guy so my positionality here is weak but I got goosebumps at her defying Elaida even beaten down and bloodied as she was. It was a cruel and heart rending scene to watch but she went out a hero. If I have one complaint it's that showing her headless corpse was kind of unneccessary

She's just like Musk, Bezos and all the other billionaires. Vapid personality, a black hole of charisma and an inability to say anything remotely intelligent. The only reason people listen to them is money, that's all they've got to feel good about themselves.

RTD1 was a nice concoction of campy and grit, part of what made it the perfect family show, but it feels like this era has dropped the grit entirely and it feels more one dimensional for it I'll also keep watching however as Ncuti Gatwa is a delight

I have issues with a few of these shows but as an obsessive fan of the genre it's amazing having four different epic fantasy shows airing currently 🗡

Can't believe #Bloodborne is 10 years old now. Yharnam still remains one of the best settings in any video game ever: the architecture, the atmosphere, the monsters, the lore, the sound design. Helps that the gameplay itself is top tier stuff. Let's never allow this game to fade into obscurity.

Love these collected editions of Elric of Melniboné, beautifully illustrated and compiling the stories of one of fantasy's most fascinating protagonists. Hope to see more of Moorcock's characters such as Corum and Erekosë get the same treatment as they all deserve more love 💙📚🪐

One thing I really dig about today's #TheWheelofTime is that it highlights that WoT doesn't NEED to be the "next Game of Thrones"; that it is loved on its own very different merits. WoT will never have a Red Wedding moment, but GoT likewise never had a glass columns moment #WoTSkies

Favourite #EldenRing #Nightreign character has got to be Birdman (incorrectly referred to as "Guardian" by FromSoft). His abilities are extremely effective and flashy but the smaller dodge windows mean you need to play with a bit more skill than I actually have 🦅

Long ago a younger me, obsessed with all things Tolkien, was determined to find another fantasy series to give me that same fix. I never found it. Instead I found Earthsea, Discworld, Wheel of Time, Farseer, First Law, Elric, Malazan, Dying Earth, Osten Ard and so many more great books... 🪐📚💙

They're okay. Not a huge commitment since most of the books are quite short. If you like Ciri, you'll enjoy the increased focus on her as the books progress as she's truthfully the main character.
