Ireland winning a series against India in cricket Fucking hell

The Top14 in a nutshell is Montpellier score a penalty, Toulouse a try

God he hasn't had much luck with injuries

010

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 31/05/2026

The response to the game is like the 5-4 PSG Bayern game of "it ACTUALLY WASNT that good"

000

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

I got zero sympathy for Arsenal after losing that game Score after 6 minutes and decide to shut up shop after that and abandon the set piece completely in the 90 minutes

Arsenal not getting a decision by VAR is honestly hilarious 🤣

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

God Arsenal scoring early was the worst thing that could have happened in this game They'll just dig in now and stop everything

That sums up the #bulvmun game Munster go through multiple energy sapping phases for both their scores The Bulls score two back to back off first phase Also when did Irish sides catching from kicks get so bad!!!!

Make him DOR and work on that behind the scenes Make the roles as clear as possible so that it's clear who's doing what

020

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

It's was peak Pistons era as well That defense of theirs was terrifying What I thought was nuts was the contrast in the Spurs win that season and in 2014 where they played total team basketball and mauled the Heat

040

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

That's great news to hear For the occasion alone the Top14 final is worth the watch

000

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

I'm also looking at the potential finals and in each case the Knicks are being made favourites Somehow

000

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

Especially with Henshaw I think he's well past the point now where he can cover a few spots. A change in the backline during this game could see a few people having to move position for best fit

010

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

Ummmmm Leinster really need to reassess things if this is the mindset at the moment

000

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

Is there not enough autonomy on the field for them to go "hey maybe we need to change things up" Small thing but all these little things when added up really came back to haunt Leinster

010

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

This series has been great to follow Each game has differed from the last True heavyweight contest

100

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

Lot of talk as well at the moment of Leinster needing to review everything to see what isn't helping them to get to that level It's fair to say over the course of this year their performance levels have not matched previous seasons and Saturday was a result of the seeds sowed

000

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

To compete with the French Top14 it's gonna take a lot more than "hey let's create a new league, Italian and South African clubs be damned"

020

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

It's like they just copy pasted the pitch that was made about why the EPCR Champions Cup would be better than the ERC Heineken Cup Too many assumptions being made (again) that change for changes sake is good

010

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

Also shows in a nutshell the mess that's been 10 for them

010

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

The TV adaptation of The Hogfather is really good if you haven't seen it Pretty faithful to the book and gets Pratchett to a tee

000

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

Kind of defated as well by the fact he hasn't started a single game for them at 10 this season

110

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

Leinster didn't help themselves either with giving UBB penalty advantage Free play happened numerous times near the Leinster line

010

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

I love the fact as well that you have Pop still so involved with the team as well

000

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

Didn't expect them to win another game this series so will definitely take it

000

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

The 10 situation is like QB1 at the moment for Leinster, the merry go round just creates uncertainty Worrying drop off in their attack this year too, was too predictable on Saturday

010

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

Sobering weekend for Irish clubs across the board Utterly outclassed in both finals and no easy solutions for competing with French sides who have depth but especially with UBB play rugby the way you'd want champions to play

000

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

They'll need to review a bit ahead of next season Where do you see being the key areas the club needs to change in order to get better (the out half situation has been an utter mess)

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

The semi final will be worth it for him at center alone. Italy have one of the best combo's internationally there

110

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

Two BPs is a nice return from Loftus, especially after how heavy a week this was. Connacht away in May could be season defining.

It's those things that are so frustrating Also how easily the Bulls got a lot of their scores

000

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

It's the small little things that are frustrating for Munster at the moment Lineout five metres out is the prime example

110

Flashbacks of games in Kingsholm in the Heineken Cup and Munster getting their assess handed to them

Uffff and that's tough given the financial outlay and expected impact from him too Seems to be a player kind of lost at the moment and I mean in terms of the last two years

010

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

Was always going to be impossible to bring on someone of Barretts calibre as a replacement too

100

Danny O Brien @dannyedobrien.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

Chatting the other day about it as well, hybrid players like Botia and Esterhuizen mean teams can have 6-2/5-3 bench splits at the same time. This kind of innovation has to be respected too

000

His arguing at the end of the game last night was head scratching Think he needs some time away from the field cause as you'd expect it has impacted him Hell he's only human
