脅かせるつもりはさらさらないが、それまで享受してきた表現の自由が狭まったり、競争が激化したり、受け手側からの支持が弱まったり、個人的な事情から創作が難しくなってそのまま現場から遠くなる人がいくらでいる。今ある創作がいつでもあるとは思わない方が良いと思う。買い支えられる時が吉。

I'm glad that my CDs of Ministry's "In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up" and TKK's "Confessions of A Knife" was salvageable. They were both suffering from disc rot, but the external drive I used to make FLACs pulled through with minimal errors, where other failed bad before.

My old CD of 1989 film Black Rain suffered from disc rot and my previous mp3s had slight errors (skips and pops) but they are all gone when I used a different external drive to make FLACs. It's amazing how the different equipment can result in such dramatic differences.
