Just over 10 years ago I made this tiny game called Gyro Boss where you dodge wacky weapons on a fixed circle. It got 200k+ downloads and to this day it's the only game where I get random people come to me and say "I used to love this game!!" I wanted to do something for its anniversary...

I'm hoping to update our 2D platformer pack soon with more enemies to match the different types of levels we already have. My to do list for game dev assets is getting quite long now though! ci.itch.io/2d-platforme...

I finished another asset today! I added 10 animals to our Puzzle Games Graphics Pack for use in match 3 (and other stuff). The new animals are all based on the Chinese Zodiac - we already had the pig and the rabbit. Hope some of you out there find these useful! ci.itch.io/puzzle-games... #GameDev

18 match three animal sprites reminiscent of Zookeeper DS sprites. Each animal is kind of blocky and has a single color theme. Highlighted in a grey box are the existing sprites: a red fox, green frog, yellow owl, orange hamster, black-and-white badger, purple bat, blue rabbit and pink pig.

Underneath are the additional animals of the Chinese Zodiac. A yellow dog, red dragon, beige goat, teal horse, brown monkey, purple ox, grey rat, white rooster, green snake and orange tiger.

For those who haven't seen I made this whole pack of sprites for a GB Zelda-like I was making that I didn't end up finishing, so I released them free for anyone who wants to use them! In terms of monster catching games I've really only ever played Pokémon. I decided to broaden my horizons a bit and try Dragon Quest Monsters starting with the very first one on Gameboy colour! I'm digging it so far
