Well, I'll be damned. I wonder if this is true? Sounds not implausible.

In a streamer's live playthrough of The Curse of Monkey Island, a chatter Silent_Fenris says: I forget how "Threepwood" came about, but the name "Guybrush" came from his sprite's filename. He was designed before being named, so they just saved it as "guy" and the program added the extension ".brush". Somehow, that stuck.

Sometimes, it's a quite a difficult challenge, getting a screenshot of the closed captions of a live show, because they move so quickly. And sometimes, the challenge is totally worth it.

I feel like 99% of society's problems would be solved overnight if we had an algorithm capable of measuring the magnitude of people's imaginations. Imagination is, I think, a precursor to empathy, and the people with the most empathy are, by no coincidence, the ones with the greatest imaginations.
