My favourite moment was when I was showing a friend the game for the first time and while talking about how you have to be careful around fuel tanks and reactors, I proceeded to accidentally detonate the fuel tank and prematurely release the reactor.

shaders are also pretty powerful, the physically demanding process of clay can be kinda side stepped with good enough shaders maby so they also appear a bit more. I do like just seeing the actual thing around.

It's pretty depressing as an aspiring dev that the industry, and many of my peers, essentially hold the view that convenience to the player is above any kind of intentional friction. I think if a piece of art doesn't get you irritated in a particular way, it's failed to ignite your passion.

I remember seeing Mixtape's trailer when it was first shown and being viscerally disappointing that a fairly interesting visual style was wasted on a... interactive nostalgia slideshow for a version of the world with rose tinted glasses on... Just a waste.
