I wouldn't say I'm a power user of Tanstack Vue query specifically, but I know both Vue and Tanstack Query very well even though I've rarely used both in the same project. If that counts. 😅

I've been simmering on the idea of this in my head the last couple days and it's only feeling more appealing! Is this something that could/would be available in production post-build? Would it be a horrible idea to use this for a healthcheck in a Dockerfile? 👀

Maybe more a Nitro question, but could we get an update on progress implementing typed search params/body for $fetch and useFetch? I know majors are about breaking changes in Nuxt but the migration guides are already so good! I wanna hear about feeeatuuures. 🫪

I dunno... give it a year or two and it could be an uno reverse situation. Next becomes temu Nuxt. 🙃

That makes so much sense. What better way to validate their design and flexibility than to dogfood it!

Happy to, I genuinely enjoy it. Very impressed with how mature tooling is around it despite it being so young. You're doing some amazing work!

Decided to go down the rabbit hole with TSRX and Vue Vapor when I saw early support had landed. Neat experiment and I would recommend people at least give it a try! Tooling is shockingly mature feeling considering how early days it is. #vue #tsrx

For anyone interested I have my POC available here: github.com/danielwaltz/... I set it up with a Nitro server and Pinia Colada to test data fetching, VueUse, Tailwind, and all TSRX ecosystem tooling integrated (ESLint, Prettier, TypeScript, etc). Basically everything I'd want for a production app!

This is super cool! I did spend some time yesterday afternoon and today putting together a POC project with Vue Vapor and TSRX just to feel it out and was surprised how nice it felt. It's odd (especially with a Vue background) placing JS statements inside the template, but also kinda natural. 😅

So much good stuff happening in the @nuxt.com @vite.dev @vuejs.org @nitro.build umbrella right now! - Vite 8 stable - Nitro 3 beta - Nuxt 4.4 release - Nuxt 5 on the horizon - Vue 3.6 vapor mode beta The time and dedication to these projects is astounding. Feels more alive than ever. Thank you! ❤️

Thank you guys. I am very excited to have this feature, and especially glad to see it includes native ssh agent support. You are all doing awesome work! Hopefully will show up in my favorite package managers as well.

I'll also suggest Cloudflare. I've used a fair few registrars before and I do really like Cloudflare's interface in comparison. Plus they have very reasonable pricing, support domain privacy without upcharge, and have no upsells. Very happy with them and have no plans to move my domains elsewhere!

View Transitions are enabled by default in Firefox Nightly, so they're on their way to stable. Give it a test with your current transitions, and give me a shout if anything doesn't look right.

Read about this gap decorations proposal a while ago and remember thinking "oh that's kinda cool, not sure when I'd use it though". Well, the answer to that is about every day since. 😅 The idea stuck and the use cases became clear. Hope to see it make its way to baseline! github.com/MicrosoftEdg...

I think everyone has captured my thoughts already, particularly that every site will implement light and dark in different ways that may not work for you or your taste! I personally would still love to see this be a browser level feature though, letting users choose theme preferences per domain.

Zen's definitely the closest I've gotten to my personal end-game browser and I think it's the closest to that wishlist if you're ok with bog standard Firefox on mobile. Just wishing and waiting on Firefox to fix HD color rendering on macOS and finally get view transition support implemented! 🙏

If you're feeling extra adventurous, I'd also recommend giving UnoCSS a shot with it as well! In essence it's Tailwind, just with what I feel is a more flexible configuration story. Both work great with Nuxt though! unocss.dev

Seriously cannot say enough good things about mise! I wish that more deploy environments like Cloudflare and Vercel had it installed and available. I believe Cloudflare uses asdf but I think mise would be so much better for them!

Exciting to see official compatibility with Nuxt! 🎉 The docs offer a good walkthrough of setting up a basic Nuxt app too, although I wanted to mention that it is way simpler to set up Tailwind using the official Nuxt module instead: tailwindcss.nuxtjs.org The Tailwind docs could also use a memo. 😂

Took some time this morning to write up thoughts on why I especially enjoy working with Vue! danielwaltz.me/articles/why... I've been using Vue professionally for 5 years and have felt that both Vue and Nuxt have been more afterthoughts in front-end discussion lately. Hope you enjoy! #vue #frontend
