Don't be mean, we might sign him when his club gets relegated.

Thank you for the likes and reposts! My Safety Deposit Box project came out of hibernation this year and I have enjoyed making some quite therapeutic drone music. "from deep lows to new drones" Check out my new series "Non Sequiturs" -> danielvincent.bandcamp.com/album/non-se...

Game's gone... not football, journalism

How are you feeling now, post the Leeds impasse?

daniel vincent @danielvincentmusic.com · 20/09/2026

Good job he's constantly fit as an ox and never gets injured

daniel vincent @danielvincentmusic.com · 20/09/2026

He's been silently strong in these last few games. Mistakes? Maybe? Is he going to save some next level worldie? Maybe not. I remember the disdain with Hendo signed. Palace fans have short memories it seems.

Two "mid table" teams butting heads. We absolutely could have won that, but I'm sure a Leeds fan would say the same!

010

daniel vincent @danielvincentmusic.com · 20/09/2026

He's finding his place. Under OG he didn't get a clear run of games.

000

daniel vincent @danielvincentmusic.com · 20/09/2026

Were both mid-table teams (hear me out). Leeds have been lucky to get some good results, and #cpfc has been unlucky to get a couple. Early days.

daniel vincent @danielvincentmusic.com · 20/09/2026

To be honest I'd never heard of this "Crystal Palace" team that are challenging the Sportsball champs Leeds United

000

daniel vincent @danielvincentmusic.com · 20/09/2026

That was a fun game. I think we're seeing the form of two mid-table teams: Leeds will drift back and Palace will drift up #cpfc

I've wondered if the Guessand exclusion is as much about managing any clause for the loan-to-buy deal. I wouldn't use up any potential games in a buy clause if I wasn't 100% convinced. He's squad depth and perhaps Sage doesn't feel the need to use him yet.

Apparently I need to remove the big box of "Means of Escape" CDs from under our dining room table, so I am doing a flash sale. MEANS OF ESCAPE CD = £1 Postage/taxes are still crazy to Europe, I'm sorry. danielvincent.bandcamp.com/album/means-of-escape-expanded-digital-edition

Must've borrowed them from Hughes, he always looks like he's wearing shoes or plimsolls

Benitez appreciation post. Won't get MOTM but worked hard and kept the ball out of the net when the defenders were goofing around #cpfc Someone needs to do a "Walt Benitez" Disney gif He's gonna have his work cut out these next few weeks...

We don't need to send refugees to Rwanda anymore, they can go to Piddington

I would like us to bed in a striker, it's how we got JP firing before. Perhaps there's an opportunity for JP in the Europa League, so both players are getting regular minutes. As so many people are saying, having a different team each week doesn't seem to be working yet. 🔴🔵👍🏼

Palace's season starts in October, them's the rules!

020

daniel vincent @danielvincentmusic.com · 12/09/2026

Whilst some fellow Eagles spit feathers and look for scapegoats, remember we are not entitled to win any game, no matter the opposition. Kudos to JSL and Khalaili for their excellent goals. Onwards! #cpfc

I think he could surpass Mateta who, let's face it, had no competition for the position and just got on with it.

020

daniel vincent @danielvincentmusic.com · 12/09/2026

I would pick a back four and spend a day sending waves and waves of our other players at them for 15 minutes at a time, we need them to get a lot better.

010

daniel vincent @danielvincentmusic.com · 12/09/2026

Irrespective of the result, JSL bagging 3 goals in 5 days is progress. #cpfc

Not really the "defensive leader" eh. Not having Canvot on the bench looks like a petulant move also in hindsight.

What happened to Doucoure? Any idea? Leg fell off?

000

daniel vincent @danielvincentmusic.com · 08/09/2026

Great game (I can say that now it's over). Benitez MOTM for me as we looked close to conceding on a number of occasions. JSL goals were great, I hope this the the start of ⚽⚽⚽⚽ Kamada's was mind-blowing. I was near the corner and I thought it had gone over, he was so deep out of the box. #cpfc
