Red Dwarf was also hugely popular in the wake of Adams and seems to have disappeared from view (for my kids at least). But my 13 year old has just smashed through the guards, wizards and most of the witches strands of Pratchett so there is defo an audience among gen alpha

The last of the data from ABC was not pretty tho.. the Mail fell from 2.4mn in 2000 to 620,000 by the end of last year. The Mirror’s circulation fell from 2.3mn in 2000 to 166,000 at the end of 2025, while The Express went from over 1mn in 2000 to just over 100,000
