That’s utter disrespect for prospective students and everyone teaching on these programmes! As long as this kind of institutional behaviour is tolerated, I can't see how confidence in university leadership will increase again - from students, staff and the wider public.

I contributed to this fine collection of essays on political crisis in Central Europe in the interwar period and today. I argue that one needs to combine practice history with intellectual, religious and social history to understand the appeal and scale of violence in the interwar period. 1/2

I believe this development is not only driven by the reasons discussed below but is also a consequence of the obsession that everything schools do must be measured, assessed and compared.
