I think it just requires folks to be a bit more prepared. You can’t just roll up to the gate at 11am for a noon race. Treat it like going to a football game. Do some tailgating, check out the fan zone, wander around the track, then watch the race. Good problem to have. It’s become a true event.

Once I got to gate 1 it was a straight shot to 10. Everyone was turning left to go to the infield.

Okay, wasn’t bad. Took 15 minutes to get from the intersection to my parking spot in T10. The parking folks are a bit haphazard today though.

Callum said he’s talked with all three teams and every time he calls, the price for the ride keeps going up. He said he’s got more funding now than at any point in his career and questioned if it was even enough.

A strong tailwind had almost nothing to do with this incident. 11 separate events during the landing sequence called for a go around. The pilots ignored them all.
