I've lost sleep before over the fact that punching in 100 on a microwave is LESS TIME than punching in 99.

Is there a word for remembering that you forgot something, but you can't remember what you forgot?

You can't get happier than an overly worshipped housecat.

A thick brown and grey tabby cat with a white chest and belly named Makey laying on his back in his favorite chair with his eyes closed and his white paws curled. It looks like he is smiling.

I feel like it doesn't need to be said, but if someone makes you feel uncomfortable in your stream you can just ban them. Don't let them decide YOUR space.

This is absolutely huge since video quality is already great here. I'm all for mostly cosmetic paid subscriptions. No upticks for paid members keeps the platform fair as well. W move.

Look at this cute tomato thief from summer!

Tip 4 for streaming is niching is alright to build and audience, BUT know that when you deviate from it you lose the bulk of your viewership. It's very RARE to see a streamer with a core audience who will follow them from content type to content type.

Tip 3 for streaming on Twitch specifically is run ads for 3 minutes per hour. Condense them to one ad section. It enables you to remove rerolled ads and gives you the lion's share of ad revenue (55%). Prerolls kill raid hype, and raids are a good way to gain new viewers.

Tip 2 for content creation in general. Learn at least some BASIC image editing and video editing. DaVinci Resolve is free and incredibly easy to use for video editing. Krista, although an art program, it great for it as well. For audio recording and editing AUDACITY IS A GOD SEND!

Tip 1 for streamers is LEARN TO FILL SPACE! There will be times, especially when you are small, that you need to entertain a relaxed chat. Filling space with commentary and engaging reactions helps more than you think.

I think there is an incredible potential to help content creators and streamers here on Bluesky by compiling techniques in OBS and algorithmic understanding for each platform. Share your tips here! I'll drop some of mine. Also if there is a feed for this kind of stuff let me know!

I am LOVING Bluesky. The lack of rage bait, bots, and trolls is refreshing in the social media space. I get to see what I want vs what THEY push. W algorithm.
