@peterjaeger.bsky.social Oh hang on - right, the pin names are correct on this diagram, but the symbol suggests it's just a crystal. Looking at the datasheet it *IS* just a crystal, not an oscillator.

The pinout should be something like the attached, so there's an actual oscillator output. The kicad files really aren't there to tell you what the JLC components would be, hence that was never suggested in any of the documentation.

I'm not entirely sure what just inspired me just now to try the colour driver for GEM on my BBC Master. Suffice to say I shan't be trying it again. #retrocomputing
