Global Methodist General Conference 2026 Reflection and Prayer

Griswold A little over two years ago, I listened to the Holy Spirit’s call to leave my prior denomination, the United Methodist Church, and to move my ordination to a new body, The Global Methodist Church. In Spring 2024, my former denomination changed its Book of Discipline to alter the Biblical definition of marriage. For me, this was only the beginning of the consequences of a broken covenant. I took a risk, listened to the promptings of Wisdom in the Spirit of God, and joined a new movement that would preserve the teachings passed down through the church from Christ himself, in continuity with the Old Covenant in the Old and New Testaments of our Holy Scriptures.
