Incidentally, here's my beloved Rockhead... And his brain. And his CNS up to SN4. And his semicircular canals. And the supporting vasculature. #RockheadPoacher #FishBothering #NanoCT #ScanAllFishes

When I'm not #Fishbothering, I like fish scanning. Typical fishy CT projects revolve around mass-scanning of phylogenies to make some sort of PCA... I just try to scan one animal at progressively more ludicrous detail. #NanoCT #ScanAllFishes

Hahahahaha I have such incredible bedhead in this picture! The caricature is adorable though. Little googly eyed poacher!

Rockhead poacher (Bothragonus swanii) embedded in agarose for a super high resolution scanning adventure. As you can see, he's pumped to be imaged. #FishSci #ScanAllFishes #HoleyHeadFishFriend #Overt

Here are some extremely quick snaps of a 3.8 micron Rockhead cranial pit in Avizo and 3D slicer. These are photos of my monitor after ~5 minutes of examining them—suffice to say there will be better things coming. Initial conclusions: Fishy is dope
