I’d be shocked if Kenny doesn’t get a new contract, he loves it, we love him, should hopefully be a formality

I actually just think this side suits Robinson so perfectly, that only a select few teams would try to pick him up, which gives me a bit of confidence that we might keep him

100%. if not for the goalkeeper situation, Robinson is our least replaceable player. Tbh, even with the goalkeeper situation, it might still be Jedi

Pathetic. The fact Ipswich entertained this instead of stripping Morsy of the captaincy and dropping him reflects dreadfully on them as well. Can’t believe this is still proving to be a problem…

The performance levels of our full-backs has actually been silly this season. Both Robinson and Tete have been outstanding and I think there’s genuinely a shout that both of them have been the player of the season for their respective positions so far this year. Totally blessed to have them

YouTube highlights are such a last resort, too quick. I just want to set something on for an hour and a half and let it run. Plus I like hearing a bit of discourse around the game as well, which is why the BBC doing their show has been great for me

Crikey, they don’t give you long!

Anyone know why the BBC Champions League highlights aren’t available to watch on iPlayer today? I started watching them yesterday and now they’ve disappeared

Most important thing here is the Dwight Gayle assist

I think the number 9 in this team needs to hold the ball up well. A pure “get in behind” striker doesn’t suit the system. That’s the annoyance with Gyokeres, because I think he can do both, and that’s what you want in an ideal world. You want someone who can do both, but value hold up play higher

Dan Cooke @danielcooke.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

There’s more nuance to it, but just on a basic level, this is what you want to see in test cricket. I think this is a really good thing

I’ll never forgive Fulham for not pouncing early on Gyokeres. We had first hand experience of what he was capable of and I reckon we could’ve stolen a march on the rest of the competition. I think he could’ve taken this Fulham side to a new level, a real missed opportunity

I thought Lukic was our best player in that first half, thought he was defensively superb

Write it off, reset, demand better next week. Easy to try and pick problems out of that game, but I genuinely think it was as simple as not enough of our players turned up. A collection of individually poor performances and ultimately just didn’t deserve anything anything from that game.

Ooooffff, he is a different type of player to the other 3 plus Helguson, so maybe I’ll allow it 😉

As someone who has always been a big bulky lad, I’ve always been a fan of a proper target man, but I had to include Dempsey when it came to aerials! Agreed on Adama, ability to win a header, needs to sort out his 50p head BUT, him at the back post against a fullback seems like something to exploit

Urgh, very very good point. Who we dropping? Can’t be Bobby Z, just because he was probably the first player I idolised at Fulham 😂

I think that’s actually for the African Nations Championship, which is only for players who play in their country’s own domestic league. So this shouldn’t affect us and they should both be available through December

Nothing would make me happier

I actually think he’d have made a fair fist of that Liverpool job. But right now, that Spurs squad looks pretty nicely set for Marco 😅 physical number 9, attacking full-backs, Maddison as the most advanced in a midfield 3. I’m unsure if he’s a Prem winning manager, but Spurs could do much worse

I can’t stand him, and think he’s very dangerous! I hope I’m fully leaving it, I hope Blue Sky can take the good bits of that app without all of the racism, homophobia, advertising, general far right nonsense and all the other rubbish bits of the bird

040

I hope so! Couldn’t take Twitter anymore, but I was missing being connected to Fulham since I left

I will be taking all of my musings from the bird app and posting them here instead. Expect general Fulham musings, attempts at tactical and data insight around Fulham and football, and a constant love for Marco Silva
