Luigi Logrippo was my MSc/ PhD supervisor in 1992-2001. We had dinner at my place on Friday, with other colleagues. We also have another paper coming out soon in the AI & Law journal! I feel very lucky to have been collaborating with him for 33 years! Not sure I will offer this to my students :-)

March 8 is International Women's Day (and also my father's birth date!). I just played a bit with LLMs to see how well gender-based equity is handled in a simple code auto-completion exercise. Still much work to be done... AI will not solve our gender-based issues today, so do something about it!

Accepted at RAISE 2025 (@ICSE)! We explored how well #GPT-4o can convert English legal contracts into #Symboleo specifications, using 38 prompt configurations. We also tested a few configurations on Claude, Gemini, Llama, and Mistral. Great potential for #LegalTech! See arxiv.org/pdf/2411.15898

35 years ago today, 13 female engineering students and one female employee were assassinated at the École Polytechnique in Montréal. As a first-year student in science and engineering myself (in a different university), I remember these horrible moments as if they happened yesterday. (1/2)
