I like taking photos of moss and buildings and cemeteries and bands. Spooky. Any pronouns.

Here’s a photo I can’t believe I was lucky enough to take of Katie Gavin at the Atlantis in D.C. a few months back.

Black and white photo of a woman with long straight hair, which is red, but appears dark. She is seated singing into a microphone while playing an acoustic guitar on her lap.

The type of shit in my “now reading” pile (pro tip: the trick to never finishing a book is to try to read several at the same time).

A stack of three books, organized by size (smallest on top to largest on bottom), viewed from the side so that the spines can be seen.

The top book is the 33 1/3 book on “In Utero” by Nirvana, written by Gillian G. Garr.

The middle book is “We Could Be Rats,” written by Emily Austin.

The bottom book is “Mood Machine: The Rise of Spotify and the Costs of the Perfect Playlist” written by Liz Pelly

I am a dummy

Okay, I am feeling like a little bit of a dummy because when I downloaded the Flashes app and was setting it up, it was like “for the best experience, we recommend making a new account for Flashes so that your Bluesky and Flashes notifications and activities don’t get all crossed up” or something, so I did that. But it seems like most of the people I am finding and following on here are just using their Bluesky handle lol.

Reposting part of my most recent grid post over here. Here’s D.C.’s own Massie shredding at the @dcabortionfund.bsky.social’s My Body My Festival kickoff show at Songbyrd.
