See now this shit pisses me off. 'Visual Alchemist' can't draw, but knows how to prompt. Why do art then? Why do any art at all if you've got no understanding of it? There's only one reason they're even interested: they want to make money. They don't want to be an artist, they want to be rich.

Lady night, I completed the latest draft of Stone Cold Blood, book 2 in my Children of Inauron series. It feels like a significant milestone to me, and I'm thrilled at finally exporting it for beta readers! If you're interested in becoming a beta reader, drop me a message :)

In the aftermath of a tragic accident, exiles: Lawson, Wendy, Piper and Stokely, in a parallel story to the events of Book 1: The Great Leap, must survive within the dark, mysterious forest known as the Wildlands.

The tortured protagonist, Lawson, battles with his own mind and the threats of the Wildlands, as the guilt and shame he carries being to take their toll on his mental stability.

When Lawson starts seeing threats at every turn, can he be certain they are really there? Or are they simple spectres of his mind, reminding him of his failings and carrying out their bloody punishment for his sins?

I've started working in a new company and it was my first day yesterday. I walk in and see these above all the monitors... Folks, I think this is a great sign for how the company treats their employees ❤️

Overwhelmed at the response to my self-pub novel. Feels like all my hard work is finally paying off! ADHD doesn't allow me to accept positive feedback but even my broken brain can't deny it. If anyone wants to give it a spin, drop me a message, and I'll see if I can help! #darkfantasy #folkhorror

Me in 2014 vs Me in 2024. It's been a hell of a decade! In 2014, I was 140kg (22st 1lb/309lbs), and now I'm 100kg (15st 10lb/220lbs) I was overworked and underpaid in 2014, and now I'm... still overworked and underpaid, but now I have two crazy kids and I've published my debut novel! Progress!

Just finished Strange Beasts by @susanjmorris.bsky.social. It was excellent! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in supernatural whodunnit novels. It was well-paced, wonderfully visual and frequently kept me up until far too late to read JustOneMoreChapter™ I'm already gasping for a sequel.

Hi! 🤗 I'm a fantasy author from South Wales, UK. I've released one book (so far), and it's called The Great Leap, it's a dark fantasy novel following a group of teens who were banished from their village and have to contend with their personal demons as they try to survive in a mysterious forest

I have a book out called The Great Leap and it's a character driven dark fantasy about survival in a mysterious and magical primaeval forest.

It has been found! And I was right about the cover! The Interpretation of Murder by Jed Rubenfield. I ended up joining a Crime Fiction Facebook group and appealed directly to fans of the genre. Thankfully, one of them had read it. Hopefully I'll sleep better tonight now!

It had a cover that was somewhat similar to The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruis Zafon. And was published in and around the same era as that book. It was popular enough that I was able to purchase it in a store like WH Smiths. www.worldofbooks.com/cdn/shop/fil...

Now for something completely different: Satisfactory is truly a one of a kind game. It's an automation game, where each 'boss' is another product to manufacture, at scale, set in a beautiful, expansive, highly explorable world. I can forget the world whilst playing Satisfactory... often accidently

Death Stranding was an enigma to me. How can a game with such a simple premise be so compelling? It's one of the rare full-package games: visuals, story, gameplay, sound design, cinematography, beautiful OST... The list goes on. Haunting and gorgeous in equal measure

Maybe it's recency bias, biut Alan Wake 2 changed me. It's a strange game, but the story is cryptic, deep, makes you think about more than the game itself, and that, to me, makes it a 10/10. It was the game you finish, but then can't stop thinking about all evening... Incredible, all round.
