U.S. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, whose district overlaps with Adams’ Central Brooklyn base, endorsed Wiley and later picked Adams as his second choice when he seemed the heavy favorite in the race.

As a "democratist" havent you been wanting youth to turn out more? Don't you think that dems would win more if we turned out more young people? They need to be activated too, its historically difficult to get 18-29s to vote in off-year races, but Mamdani showed the way, and you prefer to ignore it.
Table showing that NYC mayoral election turnout of 18-29 year old went from 11% in 2021 to 38% in 2025.

Wow, did you know that Bill Clinton LOST the 1992 election by 7%? I guess we should rethink this whole corporate "new democrat" era that he kicked off.

So does this mean it's a 20% increased risk of long covid after reinfection for those vaccinated and boosted, vs a 33% increased risk for those completely unvaccinated?
The subanalysis found overlapping risk ratios for most vaccination groups, but risk was generally lower among those vaccinated after their first infection but before the index date (RR, 1.19) and before the first infection and pre-index date (RR, 1.21). RRs were higher for participants vaccinated before their first infection but not pre-index (RR, 1.45) or not at all (RR, 1.33).

And why isn't there enough housing right now? I'm advocating for treating housing as a public good, if the gov stops funding it, quality will suffer.

And that the name of the squad only changed in 2015. Here's my favorite tidbit about that guy.

One of my favorite evergreen image
4 frame comic with a speaker saying "you must be prepared to give your life for the revolution!" And everyone cheers, then the speaker says "...and talk to people" and everyone is quiet.

My God what a horrible graph lol. The gap closed and converged to 8.8% excess deaths, woohoo. I agree with this study, curious journalists should really look into what it is about covid that is causing all this excess mortality even after we should have reached and surpassed "herd immunity".

After mashing this button dozens of times, my feed is finally getting to where I won't be embarrassed to scroll in public. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that people can share their art, it's just not why I'm here.
"Show less like this" circled on the options menu for a post of a scantily clad cartoon girl.
