The enemy has a deck and you don’t. You have drones, components, hacks and munitions that you buy in stores between waves. The enemy deck is built out based on which planet you decide to engage.

Discards are one or your resources but it replenishes each turn/conflict/planet. There are drones, upgrades and items that manipulated discard and make them more powerful where discard actually apply modifiers to the enemy you discards.

In DRONES you choose which enemies to add to the deck and then they are dealt out to fight you. You decide which to discard, and their position in the battle field. And you use items to manipulate the enemy cards. From there you “play” the hand and your drone auto battle the enemies!

Great question. I’m putting in tooling to control how the game progresses to try and be a catch all for seeds. Most procedural systems and games I know use a new seed every run. So we’re not even close to that number of different levels. Excited to see how all of it evolves.

Sustained! Love the perspective and feedback. There is and will be even more enemy variety so I want varied options. Each day there is a new seed that dictates which planets start invaded. In the final version of the game EVERY planets has a different set of enemy cards they put in the deck when.
