Hottest day of the summer I taught archery ALL day. Luckily, the groups of kids were chill so we could take some shade breaks and discuss Kpop Demonhunters. It was great when I outed my coleader for not seeing it yet and all the kids stopped shooting and stared at her. 😂 #archery #KPDH

Inflation is happening (I’m sure you knew) and here is my example: 6/25 Maruchan ramen 12 pack $3.79 (although I bought on sale for $3.49) 7/27 same thing $4.19 That’s a 40cent increase for something college students eat bc they have no money. That adds up!!

Removing FIL from memory care. It’s going to be a nightmare but this facility is not great. One of my major concerns was he lost 10lbs in 6 weeks!!! That’s not good for his age and his Dr was very concerned. I wish we could do better for our elderly.

Took my dtr to the ER. Apparently it’s normal for 12yo girls to pass out when they stand up. Their bodies haven’t developed to get blood to their brains fast enough. Another thing I learned. Scared the crap out of me. I don’t need to see her laying on the floor with her eyes rolled back in her skull

At my dtr’s (&husband’s!) old elementary school teaching archery to 4th graders for the 3rd year. It’s a great lesson for them to learn more about energy; kinetic, potential, transfer of energy. It’s fun to teach kids something they may never have a chance to do (archery not energy. They have that!)

FIL was moved to memory care bc his dementia is a lot. Today he told me (and my hubby and kids) that we are all his test family (yeah- he’s pissed about the situation) and it’s going to be hard getting a new family at his age. ☹️ Breaks my heart he’s so sad that he would say this.

I have decided we need classes for every stage of life. Graduating HS, married life, young kids and babies, teens, menopause, older parents. Things happen and it smacks you in the face. Dealing with dementia and it would have been good if we had a class as to what to expect with things like UTIs.

Dementia is the worst. My FIL got a UTI &delusions & hallucinations come with that. He swears my MIL cheated on him with his grand dtr’s husband (he “saw them”) and I guess now I am as well. I love my nephew but no. My MIL had to move out. My heart breaks and it’s so scary to watch. Dementia sucks.
