Resident Evil Jesus Christ this movie is so good. Thrilled throughout the whole thing. Probably the best zombie movie I’ve seen in years. There’s not enough characters in a post for me to ramble as much as I want to. Good movie.

The Twilight Zone Woke up at 5 in the morning and somehow ended up binge watching a bunch of episodes from this show and Ive got to say, I loved it. Really love the whole concept for the show and genuinely how well some episodes were executed. Im surprised by how good of a time I had with this.

Candyman 2021 Another movie I had on in the background while I was writing and man this one gripped me. Some wonky lines and maybe the ending was a little weird but some of the actors absolutely killed it and it had some really good shots. Enjoyed quite a bit.

Fire & Blood This might be my favourite Westeros book. Really loved the 3 unreliable narrators (technically 4) and man there's so many characters that I fell in love with that vanished so quickly. Great piece of fictional history. Almost felt like discovering the world of Elden Ring again.

Dragon Ball - 22nd Tournament This might be my favourite arc so far. I knew I would like Tien's intro and his fights but I loved them. Tien vs Goku is my favourite fight so far. And that cliffhanger into the King Piccolo arc! There's not enough space in this post for all the rambling I want to do.

Dragon Ball - Fortuneteller Baba saga Mercifully quick saga after the whole Red Ribbon arc aha. I have missed the tournament settings and I know another Tenkaichi Budokai is on the horizon but this was a really fun short arc. Also really loved the reunion between Goku and Gohan.

Dragon Ball - Red Ribbon Army saga Took a long time getting through this one aha. Felt a lot like the first arc to start with. Fun but I did start to drift a bit. But as soon as Mercenary Tao was introduced I was hooked again. That latter half is so much fun to read.

Halo: Campaign Evolved Shockingly, I think this is my least favourite Halo game. It's *fine*, I just expected more. The gameplay is pretty good but my god are the cutscenes and dialogue atrocious. The new missions are fun but I wish the mission goals were more varied. Just play Combat Evolved.

Doctor Who: The War Master - Only the Good There’s moments where I forget just how bad the Master is and he slaps me in the face with such a random act of evil. Starting to think we were robbed of more onscreen Derek Jacobi’s Master because he absolutely killed it here.

Underwater Love this film. Can never resist a thalassophobia horror with a creature in it. The comparisons to the original Alien are definitely warranted but I love it for that. The tech is so chunky and reminds me of Alien and early Halo. One of my favourites to put on while I'm writing.

Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin This sucked lol. There's places where I see potential and I did enjoy myself in some areas, but overall this paled in comparison to every other entry in this series. Heard OG DS2 is better but not sure if I'll return. Even the bosses didn't feel rewarding.

Critical Role: Campaign 4 - Convergence I'm in agony waiting for C4 to continue. Loved getting to see all the different characters mix and interact with each other, had my heart broken at one point and got stressed out of my mind at another. This show has a death grip on me.

Doctor Who: Time War 1 The main reason I've always wanted to try Big Finish is because of the Time War. Definitely not disappointed. Honestly I was ill while listening to the first story and there was a point where I thought I was losing my mind with how time was being played with. Still very good.

Doctor Who: Jubilee Heard the Big Finish audios were good, especially Jubilee. And yet I'm still shocked by how good this was. This is my first proper story with Colin Baker's 6th Doctor and I'm looking forward to hearing more from him. Genuinely astoundingly good.

The Amazing Digital Circus Was holding off on talking about this until the final episode. Genuinely in love with Gooseworx's work, incredible style and the story here absolutely delivered. Loved it. I really hope they continue to make wild stuff. Made me want to replay Soma lol.

Wake Up Dead Man This one flew by. I could have sworn there was still an hour left to go before it ended. I liked it a lot more than the second one, enjoyed it quite a bit, but I dont know if its just me but I feel like they sprinted to an ending after a certain point. That being said, still great

Critical Role: Campaign 4 - Schemers 1 I think this is by far my favourite arc of campaign 4, maybe in all of Critical Role. What an incredible mix of characters and hoo man, its great to see some complicated combat and social interactions in this game. Cannot wait for more.

The Boys Seasons 1 to 3 are incredible but its hard to ignore that there's a big dropoff around 4 and 5. I definitely don't think its as bad as youtube wants me to believe it though. The amount of comparisons to the finale of GoT are insane.

Final Fantasy 7: Remake Genuinely the best gameplay from a jrpg and easily some of the best characters and story beats (since, you know, OG 7 was already peak). I can’t shake the feeling that the pacing and complexity would be so much better without this alternate timeline stuff tho

Critical Role: Campaign 4 - Seekers 1 Campaign 4 keeps rolling out the hits for me and I thoroughly enjoyed this first Seekers arc. Vaelus frequently is the character I consider first for my favourite in this entire cast but truthfully that is such a hard choice with all these great characters.

Absolute Wonder Woman: V2 The Absolute series is the first time I'm reading Wonder Woman stuff so I can't comment about how much different it is from her usual depictions, but god this is such a killer design and such a fun power set. Easily the best of the Absolute series so far.

The Dinosaurs I feel like there hasn't been enough quality dinosaur documentaries recently. But Netflix's The Dinosaurs was a blast, so glad to see rep from Triassic to Cretaceous. Kind of wish there was some special explaining the science/hypotheses at the end of some episodes though.
