Here we go again. Draft two. Currently it’s 130K words and while I would love it to be longer, I ain’t Brandon Sanderson, so probably need to refine it down a bit.

22 - Yes, TWENTY TWO years married to this little silly poppet. Apparently this year’s anniversary gift is supposed to be copper, but because we are cool, and I didn’t feel like stealing the copper wiring out of the neighbours house, we bought each other books!

Books - books - books! I love me some books. I could have easily picked 20, but that would’ve made for a weird looking photo. Must feed the algorithm lords!

Just crossed 110K - Getting a little unwieldy in places, but draft one continues. I am slowly realising that this is turning into a quest-type book with a lot of walking up mountains but no hobbits or dragons are in sight.. Making good use of being on holiday though

LOVED Coffin Moon!! This one is bleak, violent but at its cracked and ancient heart is something special, something unique in the world of vampire fiction, where there is no glitter and everything is filthy and broken.

Finally knocked this big bastard off after starting it over a year ago, but really wanted to finish it before I read King Sorrow. The funny part is I read the last two thirds over two days.

Farewell Ozzy you mad fucker, and thanks for everything! I can still remember the first time heard the song “Black Sabbath” at around age 12 and your voice scared the shit out of me and at the same time I became utterly enthralled. Go well, and party with Lemmy and Randy

New horror novel on the go, I'm quite fond of the title too. Normally a title is one of the last things I get to, but this one just felt right from the get go. Hoping to get this done within a few months. #TheBonesBeneathTheSkin

My five favourite books I read this year (in no particular order) Sorry I don’t have one of them fancy Instagram book photos with leaves and shit lying around the books. I got most of these from my local library and libraries are fucking cool.

Been listening to this while on my evening walks. One of favourite books to read during summer, likely due to the first time I read it over the summer holidays as a 13 year old. This section is now probably one of my favourite sections of IT, the six phone calls to get them as adults back to Derry.
