You speak the truth! Their father Stellan Skarsgård also embraced his weirdness and went hard in quite a few movies—especially the Lars von Trier ones!

Bill Skarsgård seems to have that certain weird “je ne sais quoi” as well!

I understand! Whoppers are pretty fantastic! I get a hankering for their flame grilled goodness on occasion myself!

So glad you are feeling better!! And who does not crave a burger on occasion?!

Lewie has this been confirmed somewhere that all future SS1s will indeed not have internal wifi or bluetooth? I saw where the transparent collection did not have these features (or an NFC reader for that matter), but I was hoping batch 6 would still have them!

What type of cart are we talking? Indica or sativa? Distillate, resin, rosin, or full-spectrum? And how amazing is it that marijuana is finally legal in so many places and people can just go to the store to restock?!

You are so right! The metal case is fantastic, the size is perfect for portability, and the buttons are solid! I am a big fan of it! And man I could not agree with you more about some of the best games being in the PS1-and-below generations!

Thank you for the honest feedback! That was kind of the vibe I was getting about Hybrid Heaven, but I am still going to give it a go! Thanks again Paul!

I will also throw out the GKD Pixel 2 as a fantastic low-cost retro gaming handheld as well! Either way, both the Miyoo Mini Plus and GKD Pixel 2 are great options, and you are so right that if you just want to play up to PS1 games, they offer far more bang for your buck than other pricier options!

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Would you play it again, or is it more of a one and done type game? Hybrid Heaven is next on my N64 to play list (after Ogre Battle 64) since I am a big fan of turn based strategy games, and I hear this is a very unique one. I somehow missed it back in the day, so I am looking forward to it!

Probably the best approach! Honestly, I figured Watson would follow his historical form and be terrible to start the season and then ideally be benched, but I definitely did not expect him to lead the Brownies to a 3-1 start! It is an interesting and unexpected conundrum!

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

The Browns are a confusing situation for me. On the one hand, I am glad they are winning. On the other hand, does that mean I am now rooting for Deshaun Watson? And who had Deshaun Watson remembering how to play football and the Tupac murder being solved on their 2026 bingo card?!

I am a 1982 model, and the N64 has been the greatest system in my life thus far. 4 player GoldenEye, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and StarFox was epic. Ogre Battle 64, Hybrid Heaven, Mario 64, Gauntlet, Blast Corps, Conker's BFD, Battle Tanx, F-Zero, and Sin & Punishment are all still bangers too!

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Nothing is wrong with you, and you are not bad! You are an intelligent, beautiful, and caring woman that has an impressive way with animals. Plus, you have excellent taste in video games and fantastic style. If others cannot see your worth, then that is their loss!

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

The Browns won? And Deshaun Watson had a decent game? Be careful out there today people; the universe is throwing some curve balls.

Agreed! I view karma almost like spiritual cause and effect. If people put negativity in the world, then they should not be surprised when bad things happen to them. Conversely, if people put positivity into the world, then I believe good things are more likely to happen to them!

Wow Dolf.in69 has some tight game! She says she has a boyfriend? No problem. Just hit her with the ole “it’s okay I can be your friend. With whom you can share your deepest desires..” She still says no? Bring out the big guns of “submit to me babe” and “come to daddy.” This guy is a pro.

Between this winner and Max Miller, MAGA has really been showing out in Ohio lately! Glad more people are finally starting to see the truth about these MAGA fools!

Man the N64 is one of the greatest system of all time in my opinion. Golden Eye, Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Star Fox 64, Gauntlet, Ogre Battle 64, Battle Tanx, Killer Instinct, Quest 64, Paper Mario, and F-Zero X are all still bangers.

Required you to be off social media and then made a secret account to keep tabs on you and make sure you were following the rules? Sounds like your ex was a lot of fun! And how exactly was he driven off? I am hoping pitchforks and torches were involved?

120 0

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

That is indeed cray cray! Out of curiosity, how did you figure out it was your ex posing as someone else, and what did he say when the jig was up? Also, what a peculiar plan. Like what was his end game? To just mess with you, or was he trying to get information or something?

Thank you so much!! I am going to try your suggestions!

Also, just out of curiosity, do you use the retrotink with the SS1 to improve the image quality? What do you recommend as far as filter and scaling settings for the SS1? I have been using the Sony Trinitron filter, but I am sure there are better options.

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

I should add the 4dapter is DaemonBite based instead of SNAC, so you cannot use light guns with it and there is about 1ms or less of lag instead of the true zero latency associated with SNAC. But, the 4dapter does let you use retro controllers across multiple cores and to control MiSTer menus.

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

I have the SS1, and I am a big fan of it, but you are very right it is not "plug and play." That being said, I am still a big fan of the MiSTer technology and community. Also, if you want to use original N64 controllers with your SS1, I highly recommend the 4dapter! github.com/timville85/4...

Thank you so much for the detailed response! The information about the built in scaling features of the Analogue 3D in particular was very interesting and seems like a key point of differentiation from the SS1.

010 0

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

How do you like the Analogue 3D vs the SuperStation? Does one play N64 games (ROMS) better than the other?

Congratulations Taki!! I hope everything goes well!

Oh man congratulations! Looking forward to your thoughts on them! Out of curiosity, what was the selling point that made you pull the trigger? Do you play a lot of games on Steam?

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Thank you for the feedback! The Pro 2 is currently my go-to controller for MiSTer gaming, but it sounds like I need to upgrade to the Pro 3!

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Wow the arcade joystick setup looks awesome! Did you ever use the Pro 2 out of curiosity? If so, how do you like the Pro 3 vs the Pro 2?

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Agreed that he is extremely talented! As for Backrooms, I have not seen it yet, but plan on checking it out soon to see what all the hoopla is about and obviously because Mr. Duplass is in it. Have you see it yet? If so, what were your thoughts?

000 0

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Safety Not Guaranteed is such an amazing movie, and Mark Duplass carries it! And you are so right, he was also phenomenal in Creep 1 & 2! Peachfuzz and his wolf mask...iconic!

Nice call on Elemental Gearbolt!! Fantastic game! I really like the GunCon 3 because it works with non-CRT displays and across multiple MiSTer cores. If you are on a CRT, I hear the GunCon 2 works well across multiple cores too. Really looking forward to playing some Sega-CD light gun games as well!

010 0

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Oh man I completely agree that there are some bangers on PS1 and Saturn! I recently got some GunCon3s up and running with my SS1, and playing PS1 and Saturn light gun games like Area 51, Time Crisis, and Virtua Cop has been so much fun.

120 0

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

You speak the truth! I recently got a SuperStation (MiSTer), and it has been a game changer. As you say, having PS1, Saturn, N64, and in my case also NeoGeo, Genesis, SNES, and NES games all on one system is truly incredible and so much fun. What has been your favorite console to go back and replay?

100 0

Dan Williams @dandub1982.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Oh man such a good game! The Umbrella Chronicles, Darkside Chronicles, and especially House of the Dead Overkill are all incredible Wii rail shooters! So much fun!

Shakshouka is indeed delicious and Master Shake is indeed "Shake Zula, the mic rula, the old schoola..." The ATHF intro will always have a special place in my heart.
