Despite publishing over 30 pieces about the Tumbler Ridge shooting, far-right blog Juno News appears to be somewhat unfamiliar with the shooter's name. Juno said yesterday Jesse Van Rootselaar was Jesse Strang's accomplice James Cody Bryant. (Van Rootselaar is Strang, the shooter's, legal name.)

The National Post published an article defending the white nationalist Dominion Society because, they propose, 8% of Canadians *could,* "for argument's sake" support ethnic cleansing—meaning it's more popular than the NDP. They Included a legal argument but did not disclose the author was disbarred.
Polls have shown that roughly half of Canadians believe immigration levels are too high. Let’s say for argument’s sake that only eight per cent of Canadians support remigration, and 92 per cent oppose it. Should having only eight per cent support for your opinion mean losing your right to rent government-owned facilities, and to use public spaces like parks and sidewalks?

If yes, then no government facilities should be available for rental by the NDP, which garnered only 6.3 per cent of the popular vote in Canada’s most recent federal election. Almost 94 per cent of Canadians rejected the NDP in 2025. Yet the NDP is not disqualified from being able to exercise its Charter freedoms of expression, association and peaceful assembly.

In July, Shopify Director David Heinemeier Hansson authored a blog post calling for the ethnic cleansing of Roma people from Denmark, referring to them only as "wolves," "vagrants," and by slurs. Haven't seen any Canadian news coverage yet. www.alilleybrinker.com/blog/1passwo...
These are two situations cut from the same cloth of ideology. Whether it's wolves or gypsies, you can't just let the problems get out of hand. You have to act. You have to protect the sheep. Standing idly by while your livestock is devoured by predators or your neighborhood is taken over by migrants is a pathetic abdication of any functioning society's most basic duty to its citizens.

When wolves get out of control, you shoot them. When gypsies take over public spaces, you deport them. This isn't hard, it isn't cruel. It's the basic logic of self-preservation.
About David Heinemeier Hansson

Made Basecamp and HEY for the underdogs as co-owner and CTO of 37signals. Created Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, Kamal, Omarchy. Wrote REWORK, It Doesn't Have to Be Crazy at Work, and REMOTE. Won at Le Mans as a racing driver. Invested in Danish startups.Governance

The self-described "Jewish international news" blog notes pastors Rob & Melissa McKee "weathered controversy" for supporting the Freedom Convoy, but not higher-profile controversies, like the time Melissa was photographed at a ticketed speech series featuring Holocaust denier Alex Vriend.
Pastor McKee and his wife, Melissa, have been ministering in Ottawa for over fifteen years. Their leadership has weathered controversy, including the church’s support for the “Freedom Convoy” and “Rolling Thunder” demonstrations, which brought national attention and polarized opinions. Despite facing vandalism and even death threats, McKee remains focused on his calling: “We’re very focused on pointing people to Jesus and saying that’s where you’re going to find true freedom. The best freedom, the most incredible freedom, is only found in Christ, and we’re going to continue to run in that lane,” he told the media.Photo provided by an individual in a white nationalist chatroom. Several smiling middle-aged white men and women pose for a photo. Belissa McKee appears on the left in flip flops, camo pants, and a shirt with the logo of an antisemitic white nationalist group. Behind her is Second Sons VP Alex Vriend. To their right are white supremacists Jeremy MacKenzie and Bethan Nodwell.

The National Post describes, accurately, that the book depicts Indian people as rapists, describing "the feminist who naïvely assumes that her new compatriots won’t rape her" then says without hesitation it's "highly relevant" to Canada's immigration situation today. This is pure gutter racism tbc.
migrants, at least, have ambition.

I speed-read The Camp of the Saints in just a few days because it was so miserable that I wanted to be done with it as soon as possible. But it was an essential read in the canon of dystopian fiction, one that is highly relevant today in light of Canada’s own situation, having welcomed an untrackable number of outsiders that we struggle to remove, even when they kill and rape. The same can be said elsewhere in the West: just look to the British grooming gangs.

Wow I wonder how anyone could assume Joe Kent might be antisemitic
In 2022 during his first bid, Kent was interviewed by a neo-Nazi YouTuber who once called Adolf Hitler “a complicated historical figure which many people misunderstand.” He also engaged with a representative of another white nationalist group, during which he reportedly complained that America was anti-white.

He also met with Nick Fuentes, an anti-Zionist white supremacist and Holocaust denier, to seek his support during a GOP primary. He later disavowed Fuentes’ “politics, especially in regards to our ally Israel.”

6/ @theintercept.com came to this conclusion, because it's a reasonable one! theintercept.com/2026/01/13/d...
Screenshot: Originally written by the Männerbund, a nationalist group associated with Germany’s Völkisch movement, “We’ll Have Our Home Again” has found a second life in modern far-right online culture, reposted and remixed by accounts with names like “Patriot Archive” and “Visigothia” and circulated across YouTube and platforms popular in far-right circles, where versions and videos have drawn hundreds of thousands of views with endless comments referencing Rhodesia.

3/ Crucially, Newsweek is missing that this exact version of the song is the one DHS posted to Instagram, with credit to Pine Tree Roots. The song itself only appears while using an IG mobile app, so it's easy to miss. Intercept has since reported this. theintercept.com/2026/01/13/d...
Less than two days after Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Jonathan Ross fatally shot Renee Good in Minneapolis during a controversial enforcement operation, the Department of Homeland Security’s official Instagram account made a recruitment post proclaiming “We’ll Have Our Home Again,” attaching a song of the same name by Pine Tree Riots. Popularized in neo-Nazi spaces, the track features lines about reclaiming “our home” by “blood or sweat,” language often used in white nationalist calls for race war.
151
Daniel Robson @dancollen.bsky.social · 13/01/2026
2/ @newsweek.com references the "version" by Pine Tree Riots. Earlier reporting tends to attribute the original version of song to the Mannerbund (www.antihate.ca/ppc_riding_d...). What Newsweek is missing is that the Pine Tree Riots version is, as far as we know, *the original.* Audio is identical.
Marshall has made multiple references to the neo-Nazi fraternity The Mannerbund. Little is known about The Mannerbund yet, beyond a series of podcasts and a choir-style song making the rounds in neo-Nazi spaces. The song, which makes explicit references to blood and violence in an attempt to reclaim a homeland from “foreigners,” has become an anthem in neo-Nazi spaces. The group’s podcasts openly promote neo-Nazi figures, including speeches by Turner Diaries author William Luther Pierce.

Daniel Robson @dancollen.bsky.social · 13/01/2026
1/ This article may either miscommunicates or misidentifies the origins of the song By G-d We'll Have Our Home Again. It is true that it's a rip-off of Old Maui. It is unlikely that it has merely "become associated" with white nationalism. The song was likely released by a neo-Nazi group.
The phrase "We’ll have our home again" is the refrain of a song recorded by the Pine Tree Riots, set to the melody of a traditional sea shanty Old Maui.

The song and phrase have become associated with white nationalist spaces through modern, online usage. There are a number of different artists who have performed the song in a modern folk style, which has been adopted by some white-nationalist groups.

"Bari Weiss says she wants to use her new perch" to "sideline voices" like Nick Fuentes. Two days ago The Free Press, which Weiss founded, published a puff piece on Fuentes ally Dasha Nekrasova in which she defends Fuentes and her relationship with him. Sincerely, better luck next time though.
Like in Iconoclast, there’s an online streamer that haunts this story. Last month, Red Scare had the white nationalist and antisemite Nick Fuentes on for a two-and-a-half-hour conversation. “He has his trust issues,” Dasha tells me of Fuentes. “I thought maybe we could break through—not fix him, but I thought we’d be friends.” The show went up, to little fanfare—until Tucker Carlson hosted Fuentes on his show more recently, causing a cataclysm on the right. A lot of mainstream outlets started paying attention to Fuentes. Then, Dasha got dropped. The Free Press

In defence of the Antifa terrorism designation, the National Post published an article arguing that Hamas faced similar issues to designate because - like Antifa - Hamas is said to be "an ideology as much as a political group." (lol, lmao, no.)
Despite the oddity of a former leftist radical trumpeting Trump on Fox News, Nadales has hit upon the key question facing the White House’s entire anti-Antifa push: how do you sanction a political movement that in many ways exists only as an ideology? And is this even reasonable?

Article content
Such questions are hardly unique to Antifa. Much of the criticism lodged against Israel’s war in Gaza, for instance, has centred around the notion that Hamas cannot be fully eradicated because it’s an ideology as much as a political group. But what is certain is that this thinking typically comes from the left, which has been critical of Israel’s right to defend itself and demands a ceasefire that would leave Hamas relatively intact.

Druthers Magazine - which distributes roughly 200,000 print issues across Canada a month - got really, *really* antisemitic in their last print issue. Issue suggests Christians may want to take violent vengeance on the Jewish people. Also incl. 10 paragraphs praising Holocaust denier Ryan Dawson.
Then the rabbi commands the Golem to destroy all
the Christians who oppress, ghettoize, and murder
Jews. The Golem destroys the walls of the ghetto, and
all the cathedrals and all the Christians’ houses. But
then the Golem cannot stop. It starts to destroy the
ghetto, and the synagogues and houses of the Jews
as well. The rabbi has to destroy his creation. This
he does by rubbing out one of the four letters, which
results in the three Hebrew letters that spell Death.
So those Christians might just have a point?
Maybe, as a practical and prudent measure, you
ought to do unto others only what you’d want them
to do to yI urge everyone to view this article and the videos
included. Mr Ryan Dawson is an exciting new discovery for me.
Firstly, Ryan assembled his list by doing the plodding dog work of going through the transcripts of the
civil and criminal legal proceedings, which resulted
in these most powerful elite billionaires and even
leaders of nations being convicted in courts of law
and paying billions of dollars in compensation to
keep their depravity under the public radar. There’s
no big secret here. No big REVEAL waiting in the
wings. It’s all being done in court, under oath, in
publicly available transcripts and records. All you
have to do is look it up. And anybody can do it.
This in itself drives Ryan’s main point, that we,
the global public, are being persuaded that the law is
dead and the rich and powerful are getting away with
worse than murder. That is not the case.

John Rustad's BC Conservatives' advertisement on the far-right blog Juno News comes a couple days after the blog published an op-ed praising a white nationalist conference by a Canadian group co-led by a man involved in multiple white supremacist networks.
Across Europe, the rise of nationalist movements and political parties is pushing the boundaries of what immigration reform should look like after generations of mass immigration.

In May, Milan, Italy played host to the first ever Remigration Summit. This conference drew nationalist and conservative leaders from across Europe to discuss what was once a taboo subject — how to reverse decades of demographic transformation driven by mass migration. The summit was hosted by prominent figures in European politics and focused not just on halting new immigration, but actively restoring national identity through a variety of policies intended to reverse migration flows.

This avant-garde concept is not only being promoted by activists.SocietyGermany

After the City of Abbotsford pulled the plug on Christian singer Sean Feucht’s upcoming worship concert, BC Conservative Leader John Rustad, multiple local MLAs, and one MP are demanding the decision be reversed.

The City of Abbotsford became the eighth Canadian municipality to deny or cancel a permit for the U.S. Christian singer. Abbotsford initially cited vague “security concerns” about impending protests and cancelled Feucht’s August 24th event in Mill Lake Park on Tuesday.

Instead, Californians get media controlled billionaires who propose working with Holocaust deniers and block editorials which might piss off Donald Trump. And they're supposed to accept it when these guys get the easy treatment in progressive media.

Chairman of the Los Angeles Times and of ImmunityBio, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong sits down with Jon Stewart to share how his groundbreaking work in cancer research and his surprising purchase of the Los Angeles Times in 2018 are both part of his vision to heal the country and give everyone an opportunity at the American dream. He offers a background to his work in finding cancer treatments that harness the body’s natural immunity – a departure from decades of the harmful, money-making chemotherapy standard – and shares how growing up in apartheid South Africa gave him a deep appreciation for news media. #DailyShow #DrPatrickSoonShiong #JonStewart #Journalism

NatPo did add a sentence disputing the FN claim and put an update notice mentioning it was "edited to reflect concerns around the status of the Kawartha First Nations." I do appreciate this, as they have made similar fixes without adding this note. But it does not mention the supposed "reserve."
Chief William is himself a controversial character with the Williams Treaties First Nations, a group of seven First Nations in Ontario, claiming that he is not Indigenous.

The 1st version of the article, written by Michael Higgins, (a journalist of 40+ years) repeatedly mentions a prayer service by Feucht at a "First Nations reserve." It does not name the reserve. Feucht had no such plan, and the group which brought him has been alleged to be a fake Indigenous nation
Kawartha First Nations, Ont. — Controversial American musician and pastor Sean Feucht, who has been deplatformed and unwelcome at venues throughout Eastern Canada, is now himself under fire for cancelling a prayer service at a First Nations reserve.

The National Post again published an editorial based entirely on a false pretense then quietly refurbished it. This time it was an interview with a First Nations "Chief" about Sean Feucht "cancelling a prayer service at a First Nations reserve," except the man wasn't a FN Chief & it's not a reserve.

3/ Likewise, the accomplice at the subject of the criminal complaint, Daniel Park, was not meaningfully engaged in opposing the pro-life movement. The complaint mentions abortion once, and it is in the context of Park disparaging abortions in favour of abstinence.
“What have you actually done to not have children? An
abortion, a vasectomy?” PARK responded, “I think a better
question is what did you do to make other people not have
children. I don’t think I did much. Dunno what I can do about
other people. I just try to mention it when people seem like
they're willing to listen.” (Emphasis added.)

1/ Something I haven't seen reported on in the extremism beat yet: Last week, at least one US court began grossly mischaracterizating violent attack planners with no connection to abortion politics as "anti-pro-life," despite no targeting of the pro-life movement.

California, on May 17, 2025. BARTKUS detonated the bomb,
resulting in BARTKUS’s death, injuries to numerous victims, the
destruction of the fertility clinic’s building, and damage to
surrounding buildings and areas. BARTKUS's attack was motivated
by his pro-mortalism, anti-natalism, and anti-pro-life ideology,

Interesting article. I do think it's uh, a little harsh to say a rival content creator has the "same job" as Myron Gaines - a vocal Nazi Germany sympathizer who platforms human traffickers and white supremacist on his podcast - just because they're both sensationalist click-baiters.
about their designation and what to do with it. Soo told her audience that she was wondering “why was Fresh & Fit Myron in the courtrooms,” given his misogynistic online performance—without realizing that they essentially have the same job.

Sorry Jason one correction here - the Black Sun isn't Norse, it's German, and the predominant concensus isn't that it was appropriated, but first appeared in Büren in the 1930s. Similar sonnenrads (sunwheels), eg. one with 8 rune arms, are sometimes used by Norse pagans. Hochman RTd the 12 sided one
Finally, it superimposed DeSantis on to ranks of marching soldiers and a Sonnenrad – a Norse symbol frequently appropriated by neo-Nazis.

Because this is the first government in Israel’s history whose priority is not peace with more of its Arab neighbors and the benefits that greater security and coexistence would bring. Its priority is the annexation of the West Bank, the expulsion of the Palestinians of Gaza and the re-establishment there of Israeli settlements.”

continues to escape me how in this political climate a Toronto Star columnist (with otherwise seemingly pretty progressive views) tweets extremely antisemitic stuff, including agreements with Nazi accounts, pretty regularly and it doesn't really seem to be an issue to anyone
