I know that DD-to-the-Nuggets is a deal I'm supposed to be skeptical of (age, average-to-below-average efficiency, no defense, etc.) but idk, I'm kinda tempted to like it. Sometimes you can tell a team needs a little more of a specific type of juice.

$28M would put Kessler at the very top of the non-All-star bigs... about right for what he is: one of the most impactful non-star bigs. His defensive impact (99th %ile defensive TS impact per Twitter's Dray) is huge, and yet he's clearly not as good as the All-Stars (at least yet).

Bez and Jitty getting triple doubles in the same game marks just the 19th time in recorded NBA history (and the second time this season) that multiple teammates did it in the same game. Wemby-Castle was the last one, this past November. It's never happened for Jazz teammates.

I rewatched Ace's 27 shot attempts, and I'm going to need some help calming down. Truly, even some of his misses were shots that just make you go omg, where can this kid get to.
