Colds are so weird. Yesterday, I was in that illness place of "I guess this is how I will feel forever" and today I feel mostly human, except when I suddenly start coughing and can't stop (we can thank the asthma for that). At least I got sick last week and not on retreat next week.

I got a new client referral from someone based on how much they love my office! The geeky touches, my purple couch, the art by @camannwordsmith.bsky.social, the rainbow Lego set...all add up to cozy and safe and welcoming, and it's so nice to have that validated.

Yesterday's first and last dress rehearsal at the theater (LOL) was the most chaotic dress I've ever been a part of. We open tomorrow, it's gonna be...something. This show was apparently an excellent choice for me to be spots coordinator for the first time. For all my complaining, I love it.

Community theater, especially children's theater, runs on suckers -- that is, very enthusiastic parent volunteers (I'm typing this from hour 4 of my kid's dress rehearsal). We love it, but wow, the barely organized chaos is a thing.
