Donald Trump's press conference now is terrible.
He's practically threatening all of Latin America: either you do what I want or I attack you.
He thinks of himself as the owner of our countries, if our resources.
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.

Donald Trump is basically saying Latin America is theirs. That anything we may do for our own destiny must be under the condition that it's convenient to them, that he can choose to stop it by blood and fire. It's not "democracy" nor "freedom", it's imperialism.

The future of Latin America is being discussed in English..

Trump proclaimed himself as emperor of Latin America, with the right to decide who rules and how, and in Venezuela's case with the express objective of taking their oil for himself. An intolerable inherence.

I'm tired, disgusted, insulted and furious beyond words. My blood is boiling and all I see is red.

Peter Lamelas, US embassador to Argentina, shared a picture of what looks to be an enamel pin that depicts the USA flag next to the Argentinian flag, with our symbol, Sol de Mayo, and the USA bald eagle symbol. The pin on the top reads "United states of America & Argentina", and the bottom "United in Liberty, Strengths d Prosperity" with "Juntos en libertad" on top of it.

My reply:
This pin is an insult and grave offense to the Argentinian people, a sort of Freudian slip that reveals your imperialistic goals of occupation, exploitation and annexation, and it's frankly making me gag. It is a violation. This is Operation Condor 2.0 electric boogaloo and it's revolting how shameless y'all are about it.

There's no friendship, you're the asshole bully that historically acts against us, to harm us and incapacitate us so we don't become what you perceive as an existential threat, because you refuse to acknowledge and respect our independence and sovereignty and still insist on dictating our politics, our economy, our lives so we stay functional to yours. You refuse to let us govern ourselves in fear that we might chose something YOU don't approve of, as if we fucking needed your approval to live our own lives in our own country.

It is sickening to a point words can't even begin to describe it.

There can be no liberty when a militarized bully violates our sovereignty and takes our future away. You're intentionally using your puppet clowns to force an impossible debt on the Argentinian people WE THE PEOPLE DID NOT ASK FOR AND DO NOT WANT, a debt completely illegal as it didn't pass in OUR CONGRESS as is OUR LAW, all so then you carefreely cash it in in OUR ENERGY, OUR WATER, OUR RARE MINERALS AND OTHER NATURAL RESOURCES, at the expense of OUR RIGHTS.

Everything you do you do it for your own selfish interests and gain, always did and that won't change. What you call "liberty" here to us it spells "submission" and we will not have it.

Watching how they speak of our country in similar terms to Ukraine, simultaneously reviving red scare sentiments that led to US operations backing dictatorships in the region, once again and as always to protect USA economic interests because our lives and our sovereignty means nothing to them.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent openly acknowledged on television the true agreement between Caputo and the US: "We benefited greatly from this to get China out of Argentina," "our soybean producers were being held hostage," "Argentina has a lot of uranium and rare earths."
Milei handed over the country's resources in exchange for saving her government, not the Argentine people.

Four days post-op, today the inner bandages were changed, everything is looking fine. I got the order to start PT in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile I'm stuck at home and on crutches, can't stand or bend the knee and nobody warned me about the itchiness, I always thought that was for casts, not this 😭

My neighbours cut a branch from one of my trees and pushed it on my side as if it was the storm when there's a clear cut and it's not the first time he attacks my trees or messes with the division wall between our yards I'm 🤏🏻 close from both knocking on his door and also calling my lawyer

I am devastated..one of my babies passed away today..she had a sudden decline yesterday, I kept her by my side all day and all night looking after her, we had a vet appointment this morning, had to wait 4 hours..and then she died on the table, her little heart couldn't handle the stress. I miss her

I thought we had all sorta collectively understood the increase in autism rates is an illusion resulting from people actually being diagnosed as such and there being more awareness about it. Like the left-handedness increased rates once being left-handed stopped being punishable with abuse. 1/?

Got that sewing machine and just did a small placemat and cover for it. It's been a very enlightening experience, mostly what I learned is a sewing machine was not the answer for my messy stitches I imagined, but I guess it's all a matter of practice 🥲
