I was at a NFCC watch party at a friend’s house that year along with about 20 other Vikes fans. When the game ended, none of us said a word. We all just put our shoes and coats on, got in our vehicles and went back to our respective homes to sulk. Yet another example of the Vikes curse. Still hurts.

With so many great Canadian branded beers, it floors me every time I see a Coors Light, Bud Light or the sort in a Canadian’s hands. When I’m north of the 49th, give me a Pils, Ricky’s, Canuck, OV, etc. LaBatts Light if the occasion calls for unleaded. Next week I’ll be sipping Sneaky Weasel!
