Beer Bot ahoy!!! Another Dig Deep show, and another fun flyer to illustrate and design! #DigDeep #robotart #BeerBot #transformers

This Transformers-inspired flyer is for The Argo in Milwaukee, WI, on October 9, with the door opening at 7 and the show at 8. Featuring Dig Deep and Billy Bronsted & the Loot. It features a Milwaukee Brewers colored yellow and blue robot opening his chest like a dying Optimus Prime; only this bot is full of bottles of beer! A Cybertron-like planet behind the Beer Bot in muted shades of golden-grey.

I love how this piece turned out! I had a fantastic time working on it, and it really came together in the end. A huge thank you to Dig Deep for reaching out to me for this gig - and for a local venue, no less!

A dark wizard wearing a purple robe with golden highlights, large horns and a patch of green lizard skin with smaller horns on the hood, is enchanting a banjo by means of greenish-yellow electricity emitted from his hand. A bejeweled purple frame with swirls, bat wing motifs, and other shapes twisting into each other surrounds the illustration. The top says "Bluegrass Black Friday" in arched blue text. The names Joseph Huber, Dig Deep, Kevin Troestler, and Artist at Large Sheilagh Dandy Lyon are being emitted from the banjo in 60s style text that matches the electric colors. Under the banjo is the text: November 27th High Noon Saloon, Madison, WI in red text.

I designed and illustrated fun flyers for Dig Deep and their amazing friends for shows that are now being announced. They're great examples that you don't need to use shitty AI for this stuff when so many talented, passionate folks are willing to do the work and deliver fantastic results!

Top spooky orange and yellow text reads: All Hallows' Eve at PABS. 10/30 Door 7 Show 8. There's a cackling witch stirring a smoking, bubbling cauldron of ghoulishly green goo. Within the goo, a list of performers appears in yellowish-green text, floating: Dig Deep, Kevin Troestler Band, and Fort Wilderness. No part of this art used AI and was made by a real artist!

I feel bad for the kids that were traumatized by Optimus Prime getting killed in the 86 movie. I was the kid that loved that the movie had stakes and the balls to finally kill characters. (Yeah, I know it was just a way to sell a new wave of toys and discontinue the old. Cool!)

Hot Rod is my favorite Autobot! He’s the coolest, handsomest, and has a great arc in the movie. This may be my first complete drawing of him since I was a kid, but not my last! #autobot #transformers #transformersart #art #hotrod

Hand drawn picture of the Autobot, Hot Rod. He is standing casually and giving a thumbs up. The colors are vibrant with a background of miscellaneous and muted mechanical elements.

Post your favourite Lord of the Rings character. Wrong answers only.

Oderus Urungus from the band, GWAR. He is a monstrous devil-ish looking barbarian from outer space wearing spiked armor and fishnet stockings. In this photo, he is pointing toward the viewer and is backlit in yellow and orange lights.

Four images of Masters of the Universe characters in a metal frame made up of separate frames. One is of Orko waving. Another is Man-At-Arms and He-Man smiling at the camera, but Ram Man is photobombing them with a wink and his tongue out. Next is Teela on the front section of a Battle Ram vehicle. The last is of Battle Cat/Cringer taking a nap on a rug with a stuffed Skeletor toy with stuffing coming out under one paw.

Painting is not my thing and I needed one for our haunted garage’s drop panel scare. Time was limited with a sea of more important tasks to do. I cranked out this 60s style vampiric ghoul in less than a half hour. Not too shabby! Acrylic and spray paint on cardboard. #art #horrorart #painting

I didn’t mind the series until this goofy thing happened and I laughed my butt off. It just about ruined all the good things in a few seconds for me

The live action character Iron Fist is holding two pistols that are glowing yellow like his hands. Two glowing bullets have been fired at odd angles so they look more like a dribble or some kind of spoo. The actor has a silly look on his face. It is unclear if this is meant to be cool or funny.
