I learned that it's not a 'mid-rift' (ie. a rift between pant and top) It's 'midriff'. A riff is an term from Olde English meaning 'belly'. So a thousand years ago some girl called Tiffany could have shown off her midriff.

What the heck?! 'Matilda' in the song 'Waltzing Matilda' isn't some lost love the swagman is pining for. It's his swag. All his worldly possessions and he's waltzing it across the countryside. I suppose romanticising homelessness makes it an excellent 'unofficial national anthem' these days.

Pluto came closer to the sun than Neptune in 1979. Then it returned to the ninth planet spot in 1999. Then it stopped being a planet in 2006. So for only 10 years of my life was Pluto the most distant planet from the sun.
